Sugar Buzz is full of charm! A real jewel in the middle of Bardstown. Chandilers, mirrors, stripes, bling, silver, and nice people! Who cares about the taste of the cupcakes but everyone ive tried is delcious! Perfect place for tea parties, cupcake decorating, party room, shopping break, an afternoon date! Love the pink!

we went to sugar buzz today as a special treat .we liked the cupcakes alot. the icing was high but i love icing wont go every day butt it was good and we will return.

Its not supposed to be comparable to Kroger or Walmart. Gigi's charges around $5/each for their product. They're HUGE (think restaurant sized portions vs suggested serving sizes). They're gourmet cupcakes with very specialized product. I've had Gigi's twice in the 2 years I've known about them.. They're delicious and most certainly not for everyday consumption.
Again- I've not had Sugar Buzz, but since they're being compared to Gigi's, that's my opinion about Gigi's.

Actually Gigi's cupcakes are $3.00.

People should definetly care about the taste! That is the whole point of the business. Really???

I work downtown n the place is booming. I personally think its expensive, but thats my opinion. The cupcakes r pretty good. I've had better in Louisville for 3 or cheaper so whoever said 5 hasn't lived there or shopped around. I think its cool tho. Bardstown needs to open up n we need to attract business. I moved back here for the hometown feeling, but I also want local business to thrive n the city to grow. Ifpeople will pay 3 bucks a cupcake, let em

Let's just put it this way... the pastry chef is a total snob and she thinks her cupcakes are to die for. NOT. Way too much icing and ridiculous pricing.

It is a pretty place, but I was disappointed in the cupcakes. I purchased 6 different ones and none of them were anything I couldn't make myself much cheaper. They taste like cake mixes with an item added.(Spruced up) Way too much icing, but I guess that is for the WOW factor rather than the taste.
She isn't very friendly at all, so I will go elsewhere from now on. Sometimes alittle hospitality makes you overlook the price. She will probably succeed because the tourists will only shop once, but locals probably won't become repeat customers after the novelty wears off.

Danielle just because you were fired, don't post untruthful things!!!! I love sugar buzz and everything they offer, Gigi in Louisville so much more expensive with more icing then sugar buzz!!! People shouldn't hate on someone tryin to fulfill there dreams
