I have had cupcakes from them 3 times. The frosting is homemade and outstanding. They had blueberry jam inside one. I thought they were very good and will go back, and $3 is an excellent price for bakery fresh cupcakes, you will pay $5 in Louisville and $8 in New York for the quality. Their market may not appeal to cheap Bardstownians, but that does not mean that the quality is not very good.

Cheap Bardstownians...really....dry is dry and $3 is TOO much for a dry cupcake. However, maybe with alittle critisism they can fix the problem!!

So they are $3 each? A dozen would be $36 with tax? That's kinda high to me. Are their cakes that high too? I resent the cheap bardstownian comment too! lol I don't mind to pay extra for gourmet. so I think it must just be for a special treat and not for buying in quantity. I will continue to make my own for my son's class. lol

"Cheap Bardstownians" - Wow! I would say "Smart Bardstowians." $3.00 a cupcake is ridiculous. How many of us can actually afford to pay $3.00 per cupcake? Buy a box of cake mix and a jar of frosting and make a dozen cupcakes instead. In fact, the icing at SugarBuzz is way too sweet and the cake is too dry. Recipe needs work!

I was soooo excited to learn we had a new cupcake store!! I tried them on their grand opening day with the buy one get one special. Cupcakes we moist, but nothing super special. Choice was VERY limited. Sold the last cookie and cream one to the lady in front of us, and didn't have anymore. Completely out of cookies. Me and my husband got a blueberry, a vanilla, a chocolate, and a red velvet. There is so much icing on them it's sickening. I mean seriously, I ate 1 cupcake, and actually felt sick from the TONS of icing. Seems like it's 50% cupcake, 50% icing. Price is EXTREMELY expensive. For 3 dollars each (normal pricing) I can buy my own cupcake mix, and icing, and have way better cupcakes in less than an hour. Horrible parking spots. I will not be back, unless they lower their prices, and reduce the amount of icing.
