Who is your guys favorite classic rock groups or artist??? "the rock n roll guru"

Ooooooo someone got excited. I could never just name one group. Music is an artform that I love, therefore I respect (and love) many many different ones.

The Who and Zeppelin, man i don't know about that one. Thats probably like the hardest choice ever. "the guru"

Cherry, have you ever heard the "Tommy" Album and "Who's Next"? Both Killers from the Who 69' and 71'. Dang 71' What was it about that year?lol "the guru"

Don't forget about Queen. Freddys vocals were amazing. No other like him.

We also can't forget about the Floyd. Darkside of the Moon, Probably one of Rocks Greatest albums ever. It like "Tommy" was considerd to be a concept album, and i'm not really sure what that really means, but i know they considerd "The Wall" to be one as well. "the guru of rock hoo doo"

I have most of the who on my iPod. Music was different then, it wasn't about making money and buying a huge house or a fly ride. So the music was more pure and you could just sit back and jam. Oh and the doors, i'd make a trip to Paris to visit the lizard kings grave.

Pink flloyd use to creep me out, it started when I watched the wizard of oz while playing that album, creepy.

Isn't a concept album one where the songs are linked together to tell a story, much like coheed and cambria?

Yes me to, The Doors is another great band from that time. They are right up there with Zeppelin And The Who. "the guru"

AC/DC has a new 3 disc collection out called "Backtracks" it is a collection of rare tracks and live stuff and B-sides. Disc 1 Features the rare studio tracks, Disc 2 is rare live performances, and disc 3 is a dvd of videos that didn't make the "family jewels" dvd, plus some bonus features. It's also avalible in a big deluxe adition with tattoos, stickers, posters a HUGE 40 some page color booklet and even has a vinal record of disc one. And the cool part is the box in the deluxe addition is a fully funtional real amp for your guitar! The regular 3 disc set is in a standard dvd type collectors case that looks like a little amp. That's the way i took it. Well now that you mentiond it, "the wall" "tommy" and "darkside" the songs are all linked together on them. "the guru"

I saw that box set on that metal show. It looked super duper awesome. I'm not a huge fan of them but of course I always sing along when I hear their songs.

That's to bad, I just saw kiss in Nashville last month, my 9 year old son went with me. Which is actually not a shocker because he's been going to concerts since he was 3. His fav concert so far, slipknot I think but trying to explain the aroma of weed in the air, it's a wild skunk that snuck in lol

I wish ac/dc would bring out a regular 2 disc "greatest hits" album. They have an import of one but i don't think it's avalible in the states yet. "the guru"

I agree with Snow White like all of those!I like about all the rock and harder rock from then.The music now just cant compare.
