Mr. Kaplan Retiring?

If this is true, WONDERFUL!!!! Unfortunatley there will just be another one just like him that steps in, is demeaning to students and parents, and yes, one day, a parent will get fed up of having their child being accused of doing drugs, and then pop them just like Mr. Kaplan got it. Too bad the parent was arrested and charged when he was being provoked by this poor excuse of a man.

I am glad he is retiring! He needs to get out of there. He also has a horrible gambling problem. Shocker! Right? He spends all of his time gambling then tries to come in and play principle! Ha! He sucks at his job.

All I know is that if chosen to be on that jury, the man that kicked Kaplan's arse, will be innocent. He deserved it.

I was a student of Kaplan's back during the HEHS days and then he was my kids' principal at the new HHS. I always found him to be a good teacher and good administrator. The only ones I knew who didn't like him were those parents who were just sure little Johnny could never do wrong, even when caught red-handed. You idiots have no idea...

You parents have a problem with someone telling you your child isn't the perfect angle you make them out to be. Teach your child a little respect and they won't have problems at school. Bust their a** every now and then and they might show a little respect to adults.

First of all, get a grip, you have no idea what this man has done to parents and students at BMS. So, keep your mouth shut. He is a self-centered, egotistical, control freak. His disrespect for parents is unbelievable. He has no right accusing kids of doing drugs and being rude to parents. No one has ever said their child is perfect, but neither is he. He needs to be treated just like he has treated a many innocent parent and student at BMS. I am so glad he was great to you and your children, but he was not to ours.

He is leaving and the world is better off. He makes unjustified accusations and smurks at parents when he tells them, and even when proven innocent, he still tries to run over the parent and the student. Good bye, so long and don't let the door hit ya on the way off the property!!!

No, I have no problem with that, but when he is proven wrong, he is a jerk about it, and starts blaming the parents for his mistakes. He is a jerk.

I was being bullied the whole year && said he will fix it && he told the kids that I had told on then && made it worse. I'm going into 9th grade now . & STILL having problems that he had "fixed" . My mom came in & the next day , he said he'd work on it , came in his office the next day & he dropped the whole thinnnng ... bAD principal ...

Just the same old song. Nothing is done about the bullying behavior, the staff enables the children who bully, special privilege granted to those who are connected. It actually sickens me. When my child was there, I watched the drama unfold between a group of 7th grade girls and it was enabled by the staff and supported by some of the parents. As an adult, it was disgusting what I observed. I totally lost respect for a great deal of the staff, and particularly that one ambitious mama bear. For someone who pretends to be so kind and loves all children she should add a disclaimer. All children except any who gets in my child's way. I wish all of them well in the future, but a few of them have already been taken down a notch or two. Real life has a way of doing that.

i was a student at bms while he was in there & he didnt do anything for any of the children. i was kicked out of the school for fighting and the other girl didnt get anything because her mom worked for hhs. also, i came to him with a problem he told me it was fixed and the next day the same thing happened. im so happy he left! maybe kids will like that school again!!!

I was suspended for kissing a BOY when to girls make out in the hallway and they don't get shit

Kaplan was one of the best teachers I ever had, yeah he was strict but if you want kids to learn you cant expect teachers to let kids do whatever they want..Kids need discipline and this man didnt take shit from anyone and I respect him for that

of course when after I've left that school for 2years he retires ! he's the worst principal ever, I don't know why he even got the job !

Is this the same Kaplan that was a history teacher at HHS? If so he was an awesome teacher. Our final was listening to a Jimmy Hendrix CD and we even hung a Barney doll from the ceiling one time in class during a toy drive. Class was always interesting and it was a lot of fun. We need more teachers like him. The only time he ever got upset was when someone was actually doing something wrong so if it's the same one apparently you or your child aren't acting properly. Get over it he's a great guy and is a great teacher.
