The 2008 Class C All-State list

It's quite obvious, it's who you know when it comes to these ratings. Not to take anything away from Micheal Talley III. But their is a another player on ABT team that has better stats
Lawrence Danner, but did you all give him any recongnition? Aberage 25 points a game 10 rebounds and 2.1 assist a game. but we know since you all know his father and his father did all these interviews but never mentioned any of his seniors that were playing very well. But it's all about who you know and we know that you are trying to boost his son up and so is he.

Lawrence is a good kid on and off the court. GPA 4.5 Act score 20 and good stats on the court, but no recognition. all i can say is (it's all about who you know)!!!!!!!!!

He's doesn't have a 4.5, more like a 3.0 cumulative and score of 16 on the ACT, very low by D1/ D2 standards. However their is some truth to his argument about his exposure. He did seem marginalized for whatever reason.

Yall full of shit he does have a 4.5 and hes a excellent kid off the court. its obvious that Talleys son is jealous of danner who seems to be a better player all around

Lawrence is a better player than talley who was second but his father tried to make hium number one

For what it is worth to this discussion, I actually had Lawrence for a student, he seemed to be a really good kid. Most teachers I spoke with held him in good to high regards. Does anyone know where or what he's doing currently? I am always concerned about my former students current and future endeavors. Thank you for any help that anyone can provide.

Lawrence is in prep school and next year he will be going to a division 1 4 year school.. he is doing fine. you will probably see this kid on tv next year

How do you have a 4.5 GPA when 4.0 is an "A"?
Or is he taking some college athletic courses like
Hos 101 or shoplifting 100?

Congrats to Talley and Melvindale ABT on their State Championship.

From the first post, how do you get a 4.5 GPA but only a 20 on the ACT. Something doesn't add up.

Does anyone know what colleges are looking at either Mike Talley III or Lawrence Danner for next year?
