Glad to hear he was found safe and sound. Guess the family needs to evaluate whether their father should be driving anymore. I speak from experience when I say it's one of the hardest things to do.

Dementia is a crazy think. They can go from lucid and coherent to totally lost in a matter of 2 days. Then there are small periods of seemingly OK times, but they really arent. My grandmother has dementia and it is a very hard thing to watch. It is also extremely hard for families to take away their parents' freedom, but it needs to be done.

Im very glad that he was found safe.

Wow. Thank goodness for Wood TV. Were it not for their shameless self-promotion in their own stories, we might not know how good they are. I can only imagine what might have happened if the family's neighbor hadn't gotten 'the early word' from Wood TV. He might have never bothered to go looking for his car.
Very glad the man was found safe, but I'm sorry I read about it here.

Thank God he was found, BUT Please do not allow your father to drive anymore! Next time may not end so happy for him or someone else.

When my Dad got to this stage his doctor called him and told him he could no longer drive. He accepted it better coming from his doctor. My mother and I didn't have to argue with him about driving. We also hid the keys. Keep the car in the garage, don't sell it unless you have to--that takes too much away from them. It made him feel good to let me drive it while I took him places. Look for volunteers who will take him on errands and to appointments. This is so very difficult for a family because his freedom is taken away.

To DEF:
If you think that WOTV is so terrible then go elsewhere to get your news stories and quit bashing them where us who do like WOTV are subjected to your worthless opinion. There are people in this world that I truly believe are just miserable and nothing makes them happy except b*%^&ing and maybe you are just one of those people.

To the family:
So glad this elderly gentlemen has been found and is home safe where his family is lovingly caring for him. It is hard to take care of our elderly family members, but it is our duty as they took care of us when we needed them in our youth even when decisions were hard for them to make. You are the ones who are there with him daily and know what is good / bad for him and you will find the courage to do what is right for your fathers safety (as well as others around him.
God Bless and my prayers are with you.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Aries

There are mixed messages flying around in the ether today, so be wary about drawing any concrete conclusions from what happens now. Even though you don't realize it, you may be misreading the signs that someone is sending out, which will lead to complications later on. Be especially careful about indulging in romantic daydreams and then believing them.
