Horrible roads in Pecos

I am so pissed... I had to put new tires on my 3 year old car for the 2nd time in a year because of the f*cked up roads in Pecos. Both times is because of knots on the tires...because of the pot holes ALL OVER TOWN! I had a friend that hit a pot hole and had to get a new rim because it dented it. YOU CAN'T AVOID THEM...YOU JUST HAVE TO CHOSE THE SMALLEST POT HOLE TO HIT. Then all the do is patch them...ENOUGH PATCHING WE NEED TO REPLACE ALOT OF THE ROADS. We pay the most expensive property tax I have ever payed...more than I payed in Midland or Monahans. WE SHOULD HAVE NEW ROADS! BUT I GUESS OUR TAX MONEY IS GOING TOWARD THE MAYOR ALLIGOOD TO GET A BLOW JOB!

If you are soo pissed off then you should move.

Or elect some officials with backbone and integrity....

If you're so adamant on criticizing our elected officials, then maybe you should run for office and do something about it instead of criticizing. Instead of criticizing them maybe we should contact them and state our opinion. I hear of people criticizing all the elected officials but let me ask you a question, if you were in there shoes how would you remedy any of these problem you all talk about? Exactly. hmmmm..... Why don't you try to contact them, I know they will listen, you just need to be persistent because they are busy. You may not think so but they are. Have you ever tried contact any elected official?

As many people have found out the last three years, it does not help.

I've talked to the judge, major, commish's, sheriff, etc...and nothing.
-They are to busy getting friends & family members jobs.
-Protecting nonworking friends & family from being fired.
-Getting a BJ at the local hotels.
-Washing GEO's cars

Qoute a law, statute, or ordnace and get a smile back. Then find out they won't answer the telephone or return message.

So yeah, I have voiced my concerns..and got the same reply as the idiots in Washington give..nothing.

we shouldn't have to move...if more ppl in Pecos started bitchin then this place wouln't be like this... the ppl here are ok with them stealing there own money. Pecos has the highest property tax. I pay more here then I did in Midland...Monahans...Ft. Stockton! For the amount of property tax the town should shine. But no it looks like SHIT! Like a bunch of crack-heads live here. Do you know what ppl from other towns say about Pecos? You can say that it doesn't matter but it does! So keep bitchin LLRAM! And Tired of Criticism you must be one of them or married to one ... or maybe you are one that doesn't pay their property tax so I have to pay more so you can live for free!

I guess your name "pissed off" does say how you feel...lol. Com'on guys, do you really believe that acting like that will help the situation? I doubt it...Like I said in my first comment, why don't you run for any elected position instead of b******* about it. And you have every right to complain but who's gonna hear you on this blog except people like us? Not the people that are elected that's for sure. So my criticism was instead of complaining, do something about it, run for office. Sounds like you have a valid complaint and if you don't try to talk to someone with authority about your complaint it won't be heard. And your comment about me married to one of them, I am married to a beautiful lady and I do pay taxes as well...I thought you pay taxes based on valuations not on the other people who don't pay any taxes. hmmmm?
