Tolen now charged with coercing boy to falsify testimony in sex...

I know Mr. Tolin and do not belive the sex-abuse charges. I think they were an extortion attempt. I think a well-meaning friend tried to get the boy to tell the truth resulting in the additional tampering charges. Whether I am right or wrong, I hope the full truth will come out and justice will prevail.

I know for a fact that Eric is innocent. This will be the second time that the young boy in question has lied. Mr Tolen is not the first man that he has accused of sexual molestation. He is an unfortunated pawn of his drug addict parents. This is just an attempt to get money from him. In the end God knows the truth. But in the mean time the people that suffer are the accused and the people that know them best.

I do not believe that Eric Tolen molested any child/young person. I dated Eric Tolen many years ago and at that time my own son was young and I had no concerns and saw no signs that Eric Tolen held any interest in sexing up those of his own sex; especially children.
Eric is the unfortunate victim of his own desire to "fix" broken people who probably hate everything he has managed to achieve. Eric it seems has some need in him to fix others; probably because of something broken in his spirit. I know that his parents divorced and Eric and his brothers were basically abandoned by their dad who moved to DC with his "new" wife and kids leaving Eric's wonderful mom with the responsibility of raising and caring for three wounded male children.
At the time I was involved with Eric he had this really horrible maladjusted and troubled teen living with him. Eric was an ass-donkey to me and we ended on a bad note, but he is no child molester. Too bad this man's life will be in shambles after all this clears, but when ( not if) he is cleared my husband and I offer our help and wealth to assist him in trying to get back to some form of normal. It is because of prodding from Eric Tyrone Tolen when we were dating that I became a life that was changed. Thanks to Eric T. Tolen I drank deeply of that water that can truly quench ones thirst.

I have known Eric since I was 15 years old. I am now 25 years old and have been to his house many time's. He did great things for me. And not one time did he ask me for anything but money that I owed him for his services. Other boys he knew, I don't know? But I never heard of him doing anything to them. And most of them boys where my best friends.

I Know for a fact that hes guilty. All you people have your comments but until it happends to your child you dont know anything anything at all. I thought he was a wonderful, caring, giving person who wanted to help everyone but I was very wrong. You people sit back and see how the trial turns out. Educate yourselves, before you make a comment

I also know this man. I also know one of his victims. I believe whole-heartedly that he is guilty! I have seen him in action. He gives these boys anything they want...dirt bikes, motorcycles, legal advice, legal services...and when they don't have money, he gives them alternate ways to pay! One sick SOB in my book!

How do you know he is guilty? What proof do you have? Is your bad seed child one of his alleged victims? I question these terrible parents who had to rely on another to raise their brats and then have the nerves to try and seek unjust financial gain at the expense of the life and reputation of an innocent.
Eric's crime, try to help throw away trailer park and meth head folk's brats. I bet everyone of these alleged victims' parents fit a certain demographic.

But none of what you post proves that he is a pedophile and your weak "I believe" would never stand in a court of law. Eric should have stayed with his own and let trash blow with trash. Some folks don't want to be better and some parents don't want anything for their brats.

Too bad that child will suffer the same fate as you other poorly raised offspring. What is it that you hoped to gain from Eric; marriage and salvation from your poor life choices that have you now working cash registers? Educate yourself.
Eric will be okay and I sincerely pray that this past year has put some sense into his head and that he will let trash stay where he sees it and never ever bring it into his life again.

What does this Corey person have to do with this attempt at smear and ruination of a life and reputation? Eric did not molest these brats and only was trying to uplift their troubled arses from a sure path and life of ruin due to their having suffered piss po parenting.

Look it was just a matter of time before they caught up with this ass-hole. And let me just say most child molesters prey on kids from troubled families, he knew just what he was doing and he's been doing it for the longest. So, guilty, guilty and guilty again hope he serves every single year, day and minute they give him it will never make up for the damage he's done to these kids. 5 Testified against him how many do you think he got away with? You can bet there's a lot more that didn't come forward. This ass was investigated over 10 years ago too bad they didn't get him then. Hopefully he's spent all his savings, lost him home, lost his business and most of all lost his freedom.

I truly do not believe that Eric is guilty of these allegations and in time the truth will come out. Innocent folk spend twenty, thirty years in prison, but the truth wins in the end.

Are you aware that one of the "accusers" is the older child of the woman he was locked into a nasty custody dispute with? These "troubled" hellions will be in the press for this mockery of criminal justice has turned them loose. Keep on watching these "kids" and you will see.

Eric trying to give them some righteous direction was the last best hope for some of em. Keep up with them and you will see.

Well I find it rather odd that there's 6 or 7 boys accusing him of the same thing, I mean come on 39 counts. Why did he have IOU's in his safe from these boys? IOU's for sex. Mr. Tolen put himself in a position that he could take advantage of these kids most child molesters do. I don't have an ax to grind with him I just want to see justice and thank goodness he didn't get away with it again. Why do you think so many boys would come forward? And why did the 26yr old admit his affair with Tolen when he was underage. Tolen's guilty as charged and just finally got caught up.

*I know this is old news, but in light of the case of his former client I looked Tolen up. Child molestation is one of the worst crimes for a child to survive, and admit. One of a few things will happen, either they won't be believed, accused themselves, nothing will come of it, or a trial will be brought with an outcome which could be more devastating than the abuse itself. Child molesters are often sociopaths. You can't see their demons. They hide them exceptionally well because they are methodical in covering their tracks. The more prominent in their community the more unfathomable it is that they would commit any crime let alone one as despicable as sexual abuse of a child. Don't be so quick to defend until you know of the evidence collected because charges can't even be brought
to anyone unless there is probable evidence which
COULD LEAD TO A CONVICTION.

Karma is a pain, isn't it Tolen. You deserve it. You put many lives through Hell. Don't ever mess with anyone again. You might want to work on yourself before attempting to sue anyone and everyone and looking for reasons to snitch.
