Much surprize when my son called at 1pm to say he was home from Ballston Spa HS... Only problem is, they held them for 3 hours with no power and then sent them home without lunch!

it is called having peanut butter and jelly and other types of food that the schools have on hand for just such an ocassion they are suppose to be prepared for this type of stuff but for some reason they werent big surpise for b-spa

FYI, I just checked with my 6th grader and he was given lunch. He pointed out that everything in the kitchens run on electricity, which includes the lights to see what you are doing.
