Is this the council person pointing fingers at everyone else?

I am not shocked, my mother taught me a long time ago "When you point your finger at someone, there's two pointing right back at you."

This is the same guy voicing against the council, this is the same guy who's supporting the Home Depot wreck we have, this is the same guy who loves getting his name in the paper, at any cost.

Pffft. You have no idea:

Pacheco expenses need explaining
Pasadena Star-News, 2003-08-14

TALK about taxpayer abuse. The picking of Baldwin Park taxpayer pockets is especially egregious in the case of Councilman Ricardo Pacheco, who at last count had spent $12,000 over his official expense allotment for a bill of $17,126.
While no one expects council members to pay their own way to government conferences and other sanctioned events, few would consider billing the city for what is supposed to be public service.

Other council members seem to make do with their annual $5,000 expense accounts, keeping spending well under the allotment or just over. Marlen Garcia for example, spent $6,860. But Garcia is well below that spent by Pacheco.

Pacheco, having resigned his $117,816 job as public works director of South Gate, has stepped up official city "business' and billed Baldwin Park for so-called work performed at home. He's also asked to be paid for using his personal car on city business. No one's saying what that work entails, however.

Critics may have hit pay dirt with musings about Baldwin Park residents bankrolling a job hunt for Pacheco as the city paid for communication training and computer texts.

A full accounting of each and every penny is warranted. We question the city attorney's defense of such outrageous billings. If Pacheco must spend so much time on official business, why not provide him with a desk and phone inside City Hall?

Also questionable is the response by the city's finance director that the overspending wasn't costing the general fund. Huh? Regardless of which pot Pacheco dips in, it's public money and the public deserves a full accounting.

The remaining council members need to call for an investigation into why Pacheco has been allowed to get away with so much city money.

In related fiscal matters, Councilman David Olivas was a no- show at three prepaid city government conferences, costing the city for advance deposits. Olivas needs to ante up the money and in the future, let officials know well ahead of time if he does not plan to attend.

Baldwin Park needs to close the teller window and put policy in place to keep a lid on unnecessary expenses.

As my name states, interesting.

City money/funds for home repair, this is seriously an outrage.

It's one thing to steal from another city (South Gate) but when you take from our city, every cent should be accounted for.

I don't understand the logic of this poor excuse of a human being, I want him gone.

I bet this is little Anthony or the bull dog Marlen is causing rumors because boy wonder anthony was caught lets just say with his pants down. If Pacheco's crime was so serious why didn't you bring it up years ago? I know you were saving it for a payback for the little whiner. Why don't you just step down anthony and be a man about it. We all now you won't because your just like your old man you will go down in defeat just like him a loser from the start.

I can put my pink slip up and my home as a guarantee AB did not post this.

You keep making assumptions buddy, like he's doing this alone.

The only one making all the posts ALONE is you buddy boy.

AB and the entire council (expect pachuco) have clout and intellect, this means they have friends.

Where are your friends? I doubt you have any because it's only you posting with the same IP address and the plethora of clever names.

Again, I can bet my entire life savings AB had nothing to do with this.

you know what they say about assuming, right?

Wow the life savings your talking about is maybe around 100.00 dollars who cares. If you knew anything about computers I can make you believe whatever you want so go ahead tell your buddy only one person is picking on him. We all want him to run for reelection so he can see he needs to find a new place to live where his bullshit will be tolerated. Well anthony maybe has one friend but he is even afraid of putting a city where he is from on his post.

Bejarano caught with his pants down? Pffft, if you had THAT picture it'd be worth something. Like a couple hundred votes from the female contingent in BP. The guys adorable. And so articulate ;)

I'm sure all of Mr Pachecho's dealings both past and present will be topic of discussion soon with his recent filing for Mayor. His public dealings are relevant are they not?

Just like Mr Tuttle's business record and education will be now that he's a candidate. Its important for the good people of BP to find out as much as they can about the candidates who are courting their vote. It will take more than "Im a good guy and I have a plan that I'll share with you once Im elected" to get a vote. I wait with growing anticipation for Mr Tuttle, Ms Rubio and Ms Baca to outline strategies that make them the more effective leadership team than the current one that has weathered the recent economic crisis and kept Baldwin Park in the black.

Changing drivers in the middle of a race can be tricky.

Well it looks like all the real females thought it was stupid and sickening to see a council person be soo stupid. First he is drunk in public and arrested then the famous UPS pictures. You have now gone to his level of stupidity so you take this 4 time loser home with you because no one else wants him.

Today's New Moon urges you to get to grips with something that's been weighing on your conscience recently. Do something about it, dear Goats, preferably before Christmas Day.
