It happens many times that someone will run into the street and get hit and it would be their fault. Then the driver panics and takes off and he's then a felon. Had he stopped and reported, he might walk away free or even be praised if he could help the individual.
I don't know what the circumstances were here, but a human can survive a pretty serious hit with a vehicle if they are not then also run over and dragged around town. |
