Awhile back either National geographic or Discovery did a special on that .They showed a Dark skinned Jesus .
I read that many Christian conservatives than canceled their subscription to the station .
As a liberal Catholic living in Florida I was not shocked in the least to read that.
Well as a moderate - even when I was a blind conservative - I say that to cancel a subscription for that reason is stupid. Proves fundamentalists can look no further than what they are told by their pastors or what they see in the book they claim to be infallible. Religion is just what one believes, not based on anything but personal opinion. No proof is available, despite what some people have been brainwashed to believe.

1.I've marked your post as both 'spam' and 'off topic'.

Funny that you think I am spam and off topic? From my understanding of the bible, & the question being 'What color is Jesus',...I think my question is fair game.
If you can judge me to be spam & off topic, then why can't I question, the color of your Christianity ways, by the actions, I have seen? I mean,...what color would you call your flocks Christianity ways??

2.I've laid out my case. I thought you were here for serious debate?!?

Really?? Are you confused? Did you bump your head today?? Apparently, you have many screen names, like the many coats of Christianity that I have seen.{partake into too many spirits, today?}

3.But yes, like Jesus the 'shepard' you can consider these 'topixers' my flock, thirsty for my truth and hungry for my righteous reason. Without my guidance and leadership, they all run astray.

You might want to consider opening the gate and letting your flock loose. For if you are their Shepard, and they thirsty for your truth & hungry for your righteous reason, then your flock is near death, & are starved and dehydrated. They already run astray{changing from one sheep's coat to another}. Do your flock a favor, let them "find their way" for if they truly want to be as they have claimed to be, the real color of Jesus would be White, simply for the color means pure & clean & isn't that suppose to be the meaning of Christianity? Forgive me for stepping in the devils den, but, don't proclaim your Christianity in one thread and cussed me, judge me, belittle me, & slander me in another.

Please continue to guide your Flock into the night, for as we all stand before God and his judgement, I can only wonder, will he say, that you showed your true colors of Christianity?

My belief, Jesus would be of the coloring of white, not for race, but, that white represents pure & clean, and if you have ask God for forgiveness and are truly living a life of Christianity, then your colors should be, white = pure & clean.
I do believe you will be judged by this greater than I am in the end.

My comment was not against Jesus.
Mine is against ppl that claim to be of Christian ways, and stand before me in devils clothing.
I personally did not respond to Julianna, but apparently I am not up2date on the day & hour of screen name changes. That could have been the only way I responded to Julianna,{that they have another screen name.}

But, I am spammed, & judged clueless & nuts for EVERY post I make,

Don't you just love the feeling of true Christian ways.

I know being I have been declared the lesser class of ppl that I 'supposedly' have no knowledge of Christianity.
Maybe your are right.
For we where not taught to be as, I have seen displayed.

Funny, I do believe I have read, in my Bible
"Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.[Matthew 7:120].
I will depart with.....it would be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than it would be for a rich man to enter heaven.

I was taught by a military pastor that god was who ever you wanted him to be, what colour you liked etc etc..........the end point being so long as you followed the guidance and was the best person to everyone you could be then that was more and if not often better than the people that dressed up once a week and trotted off to church but spent the rest of the week being mean and unkind....

Your pastor was 100% correct. How come the rest of the Christian pastors don't seem to get it? Jesus, Allah, and the rest of them were fairy tale characters created by mankind. But pure human kindness is so good and so real, that it is almost tangible. I try to help someone each and every day; not limited to holidays. In fact, I outwardly look for such opportunities. Not just on Sundays, but Mondays through Sundays.

Each culture claims its culture to be that of Jesus. How stupid! LOL If there in fact was a Jesus, born in the middle east, what color would he have been? Not white!
Just because someone lives in the middle east doesn't mean they are not white. He was Jewish. So what do you think his race was? You have a variation of different skin colors in every ethnic group. The tone of your skin doesn't always determine your race.

It doesn't matter, because it's all a fable anyway. You can color him any shade you like.:) However, on the surface, what you said makes sense. The creation of Jesus was based on people who revoleted against the Jewish religion.
