You can blame your parents for your predicament and ask them to figure out an answer to your problem. They got you into this mess, they need to take responsibility. It is wrong of you to expect anyone to forgive your illegal status because of their mistake.

My suggestion to you is to join the military or take an extended vacation to your country of origin and apply for legal entry. Then, and only then, will you be welcome. Hiding in the shadows is cowardly, not brave.

I realize your choice is a hard one but it is your only choice. You said you were brave..what happened. At least you have a choice. People born in the United States who are without a job do not have the option of going to another country to look for a job. You can. If all of you would leave, there would be more jobs available for citizens who are out of work.

And as for the taking jobs thing yes you are right there are illegal immigrants taking jobs from ameriane and not paying taxes , and not even trying to make this a better country.

I'm sorry for your troubles but it doesn't change anything. If your parents had come here before 1982 they would have been given amnesty under Reagan. There was not to be anymore granting of amnesty. The door was to be shut. Instead, millions more crashed our borders thinking they, too, would be granted amnesty sometime down the line. NO.

Sorry but we can't go down that road again. What we learned from the Reagan fiasco was illegals take the granting of amnesty as an open invitation into our country. It's clear to me that the people who speak against the Dream Act have no idea what they are talking about. Sure some illegals don't deserve to be here because frankly they are here doing criminal acts. But that doesn't speak for EVERYONE. Even though some are criminals there are others like me who just want to work, live, and study here. And before people start stating how "immigrants take our jobs. They don't let citizens go to school." and other stuff. I'd like to point out that the jobs we do are jobs that not even black people would do. As for school I have noticed that CITIZEN students go there to sleep, text, talk back to the teacher, or just straight up not go! Talk about an embarasment for all you citizens, how an illegal works harder. Also I have noticed that immigrants don't really need American jobs. I say this because I see homeless citizens out in the street asking for money while I see an immigrant selling whatever he/she can to make money. Talk about lazy citizens and hardworking ILLEGALS! Having said all this I want to add that the reason all you "hardworking" citizens are scared is because you know that if we illegals become citizens we will be better than you since WE are trully hardworking. For your information the Blacks in La are getting just as upset as the rest, with illegals going there and taking construction jobs away from them. So don't even go there on what jobs people will and will not take.
