The economy will bounce back. Government spending created many jobs in the Great Depression, Hoover Dam for example. Some paint that as socialism, others as a wise public investment -- found a cool site; Balkingpoints ; incredible satellite view of earth

I want the Red Line subway extension! I hope they have plenty of parking at the stations. See the parking logistics mess of the North Hollywood station as what not to do.

And because Roosevelt screwed it all up with his Keynesian demand side economics the Great Depression lasted until WWII started! And now Obummer Hood is trying the same thing.

We need to harness the relatively low cost and the widespread availability of air balloons or man-sized sling shots to combat the traffic monster we have created.
