He has the experience needed to do a wonderful job and is just the right age, not young or old and could be here long enough to make a big difference. There will be problems no matter who is CHIEF. Even if you bring someone in from another town who doesn't know anyone from around here, there will be those at the department who will befriend the person brought in, until they get what they want. We have those sort of people now. This is "a dog eat dog " world. Until people start just being themselves and stop trying to get over on everyone else, this place will not get better.
