Was a dead body found in Greene County today?

yeah... I found the body of a dead squirrel on warrensburg rd this morning. Cause of death is unknown but suicide is suspected...

Channel 11 news at 11pm..may have screwed up..They said that Micheal Dykes was arrested for shooting and killing Orville Henry.. Then at the end the lady said that Henry was being held at the Greene Co. jail..omg...I know both of these men..Idk what happened.. The last I heard Micheal was preaching at a local church and Orville was the same abusive drunk he has always been...Does anyone know anything more about all of this..This is kinda freaking me out...I can easily see Orville in a drunken flash back killing someone but Micheal..I would have never thought he was capable of killing anyone..The News said that Micheal has a history of violence. Am I missing something..Granted I haven't been around Micheal in a long time..Has he really changed that much. I know for a fact that Orville has a history of violence..especially when he was drinking..Does anyone have any info. on this...

His son they call him henry also.

He had three sons and a daughter that lived here. I heard he had quiet a few more kids up north..but yes His oldest son that lives here is called Henry ..Idk why, thats not his first name, it's his last..

A Greeneville man has been charged in the shooting death of 62-year-old Orville Henry of 960 Gass Memorial Road.

35-year-old Michael Ray Dykes of 224 Thornwood Drive has been arrested for first-degree murder.

According to Greene County Sheriff Steve Burns, deputies responded to Henry's residence around 9:00 Friday morning after receiving a 911 call. Upon their arrival, Henry was found dead of gunshot wounds to the head and stomach.

Following an investigation, Detective Sergeant Vincent Tweed charged Dykes Saturday afternoon with first-degree murder. Dykes is being held at the Greene County Detention Center on a $300,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Monday.

I have known Michael for probably 25 years. He went to school with my daughter and was around my family a lot during growing and since becoming an adult. I have seen him in all kinds of situations and I have a real problem believing he did this. I guess I will wait for the truth which ever way it goes. Yes,he was a preacher at one time.

Yea just keep waiting because if he is the honest preacher you say he is I guess him confessing to it was all a lie and they arrested an innocent person.

Mrose you sound to be a judgemental person, for 1 thing who killed who and who was the worst person here, pretty obvious! Did Orville plan on killing anyone or did Orville do something bad to make you so judgement of him the victim?

I have heard that Tim Taylor had a hand in the shooting. Don't khow if it is true or not but yes it is here say but Tim told a friend that he shot at the same time that Dykes did.
