get a clue wrote: <quoted text>TNT believe it or not, some people do not let their political "labels" stand in their path for voting or associating with members of different parties. Nolan is an example of that... when he took over Islip, he did not fire and hire based on red or blue... the point is that politics have no business in school district matters. Gellar associates with politicians who are willing to help him help the school district- regardless of their party lable. Montes on the other hand is a tea party conservative extremist. Muddying the water, USING people, for votes, for alignments, any PORT in a storm. Gross! Tell that to the ones he fired! Spare me! You think you are dealing with some amateur, far from it. These characters are in and out of each others back pocket, politics is slimy in that way. Politics has EVERYTHING to do with school district matters, you have got to be kidding me!!!!! You sound like such a talking head, Montes has no record, he hasn't done anything yet, are you MAD as in, INSANE? All I see are democrats woven in and out of the VP and Pres. and they are connected to those who try to make a run for Legislature, Town Councilman, etc.$1000.00 for this campaign,$1,500.00 for that,$250 here,$100. there. I never see any contributions to Republican campaigns though. Can you correct me if I am wrong and direct me to those, I'd love to stand corrected for once.

get a clue wrote: <quoted text>guess what rich... the kids fit.. the classes are not to large... and the tax rate is at cap. If you feel that 25 in a class rather than the 20 that we presently have is just fine, I'm willing to guess that you have no children in the ES. Just check the research on ES education, smaller class sizes and better teacher to student ratios definitely make a difference. Short change our children now with larger class sizes can't be helpful for their education.

If TAX PAC was "alive and well" West Islip would be a hub, but you point to East Islip and "various" other towns. Stretch, stretch stretch...equals lies, and lies and more lies. Gellar and LaRosa and Nolan and Steve Israel equals liberal dem's who really do have an actual connection whether by financial support or appointment. Start with something REAL that you can actually point to, and stop with the lying. It's so desperate. The BOE president voted second to last to close 2 ES schools, he wants to expand the IB program to the MS's, is he the West Islip School chancellor or something talking about his vision? And who is this costly program going to expand at the expense of? thank you for the update Glenn speaking of stretching the truth......how exactly is UNESCO going to take over the minds of our children? The district has actually closed 2ES before, yes they were at different times, but the thing that is UNPRECIDENTED is the number of times you and rich have both misspelled unprecedented.

Sorry to disappoint you Dr. Remilach but in all my postings, I have not used the word "UNPRECIDENTED". But the real problem here is that the BOE closed two ES at the same time. This indicates poor planning as well as over spending since the State has restored most of its aid to our district. A good plan for our district and our children should have been to close one ES and make serious cuts to spending. If enrollment comtinued to decrease then in 3-4 years another school might close if needed. But never has any District closed two ES and then hoped that all students would fit and things would work okay in September. This is obviously an 11th hour plan and could easily have disastrous results for our students.

In fact, I must hand it to you you, you have fought the good fight for what you believe is right. I think your passion has clouded your vision, but you must do what you believe to be right. And no Jack, Rich is not Glenn and Glenn is not Rich. Glenn can't post right know as he is stategerizing with Stephen Flanagan about who they can put up next year with no visible ties to TAXPAC/CSA. Time to alert the UN/NEW WORLD ORDER to put the Legion Hall under closer surveillance.

Rich of WI wrote: <quoted text> Pretty sad for Steve Gellar when his supporters have nothing postive to say about him or his record after 6 years on the BOE. He has done more damage to our ES program than TAXPAC ever dreamed of! Rich, when you're right you're right. Steve Gellar's minions and supporters don't have a postive thing to say about Gellar and his 6 year record so the only thing they CAN do is to try to slam down Glenn Montes. Even if you took every one of those big, top-heavy VOTE GELLAR signs and put them end to end they still couldn't cover up Gellar's 6 year bad record.

You hit the wall, splat! You got nothing else? lol, It's your job is to be bothered to do your own research A$$MAN, thoroughly, and it takes a long time too, so don't show up tomorrow with some rough sketched arguing point, just like everything else you say, I'll see right through it. While you were noticing my misspelled word, I noticed you didn't capitalize the proper name, Rich. Now go wash up, clean your fingers and your brown nose and get to work!
