EagleRidge Mall Pet Store closing

Staff Reporter 16.JUN.08 Lake Wales, FL - The Odysea Pets in the Eagle Ridge Mall is closing. The business which has been in the mall for several years now is closing it's doors and everything is 75% off.

That's good. All pet stores do is support puppy mills. There are so many homeless animals put to death every month. Until more people start rescuing, adopting and spaying/neutering, it won't stop.

Well I'm glad to hear it and I'm not surprised. I bought my dog there (a totally emotional purchase)against my better judgement. She got me on the whole "we only deal with local breeders". I learned the hard way that a local breeder isn't always a good breeder. We love our husky but she had problems from day one. She was also suppose to be registered AKC and that turned out to be a total lie. We got ripped off but you live and learn. We do love her anyway :).
