vermillion

If you have a choice do not move to vermillion,kansas! They are trying to turn a small town into a big city, which in my opion is not working and will never work. if you want somthing done in town you eathor have to kiss there butt or have money or be relaited to sombody on the council, and if you are one of thoughs you can get away with anything you want,and also if you are one of the select few that the city dont like they will make you comply to certain laws that nobody else has to do, in my opion thats discrimanation! which i dont think is right. the city council is against chaing, when you try to contact some of the council members you will be ignored and they will not return your phone calls. the city has gone down hill so far that it will never be brought back to where it should be. So why dont they just let things be and quit trying to make it somthing it is not! In conclusion avoid moving to vermillion,kansas it is hell on earth!

well..good stay where you are.,,,you are not one to get in do things with other people and get with ANY program good active people make a little town BIG..guys like you are easy to find and dont stick anyway I have found that if you are straight,, do things that really help our LITTLE TOWN be a big one in spirit....it may be little in size but BIG in those who care...stay in little Westmoreland

Yes; Kansas "politics" appear to be a bit corrupt, and people here seem to be unfriendly and "stuck-up"; but what I can't figure out is........what's anyone out here got to be "stuck-up" about, and what, just what........is everyone protecting by being corrupt? Having lived in places where there really ARE a few things which could be perceived as worth being "stuck-up" about, I can assure everyone that the people here should really be more down to earth and honest about life in general, in and out of city council meetings.
