New NV Superintendent

Has anyone heard anything about Jerry Turner wanting to be the new Superintendent for NV next year???

Yes, he has been courting SPPS parents who serve on the NV school board promising SPPS no issues what so ever and they get whatever SPPS wants or would need if they make him superintendent.

Can't we stop the good old boys club at NV and think out of the box, just one time!

It is said that the Special Ed guy (as you call him) got fired elsewhere too...so glad we got someone with those credentials aren't you? And we need to thank Frankfort and Centralia's board for giving him a glowing recommendation.*gag*

I heard the new guy (sped director) got fired halfway thru the year at Herington. He also got let go early from the superintendent position at Vermillion. Then the NV Board of Education hires him in just 6 days with no other advertising. They even had someone else trying to apply and would not send them an application!
What a joke!
Also heard that the new guy already has a formal complaint against him for taking a child's files out of the office and into a parent's workplace.
And...that he is slandering parents, and other administrators in the area right out in public.
Sounds like a hell of a winner!

The new SPED director knows NOTHING about Confidentiality or Professionalism.
He allows staff and professionals in the SPED office along with himself to trash talk SPED parents and kids.
He shares private student information with all of his staff.
He also spends a lot of time talking bad about employee's with other employee's.
He is a real JOKE!

You know what really gripes me is that I just found out that my child's private information was sent to this Doctor Morsch in Kansas City, and that this new special education director is supposed to be getting our kids information back from this doctor. But have we heard a thing about this from the damn NV Board of Education? Or from Mr. Harris or that new guy Mr. Meyer? NO.
I had to get this information from another parent who knew about it for months now. Why haven't we all heard about this before? The way I understand it even the kids in the gifted program had their information sent. All the kids in the Coop did! This kind of crap had better stop. What kind of clowns are running this show anyway?

Man, if Amy Beck only knew all the things the Special Ed Director said about her. He says she needs to understand her responsibilities and what they are in her building! She trys to get out of way too many responsibilities and give them to someone else. She is way to uptight, just like a "typical woman".

He is so nice to her face and has her so fooled.
I couldn't tell if he hated her or what.
But now it makes sense, he is obviously two faced!

It's my understanding that Patrick Meier, the director you are speaking of, talks very openly about any of our administrators. He basically gives them lip service, and then back stabbing them.
It's a well-known fact that all of the administrators that he works for, whether it be Vermillion, Axtell, Seneca, Centralia, or even the private schools are provided lip service by him without follow-through---he talks behind their backs and does a lot of whining. He even trashes his own hard-working employees.
I wonder how much they are paying him to be a jerk? What a waste of our taxpayer dollars.

He spends HOURS, DAILY, working on bringing down any parent that wants to question him or the coop. He spends ZERO time overseeing any of his staff in office or in schools. And most importantly, "what is best for kids" is simply something that isn't even a MORSEL of consideration. He spends all day trying to figure out how to fight parents. Someone needs to explain to him and the NV school board for that matter, that without parents you wouldn't have a job!!!!!!

I have a question? How do parents find out if their child's information has been sent to that Dr. that everyone is referring to? My child is in the gifted program, but I heard that those kids information was also sent. Is this true? What do I do about it? Where is the NV school board on protecting our children? I want some answers.

Parents are going into the Special Ed Office to look at their children's files, but also there are documents/papers missing out of kids files. Pat Meier knows EXACTLY who's names were sent to that doctor, but he is fudging the info on the numbers of kids that were sent, and no one wants to call him out on it.

There is scheming going on still, evidence has been tampered with. Parents, the state, the attorney General's office, and the school board have been lied to. But the lies have been catching up. It's hard to keep track of so many lies, you know.

Somebody needs to ask to see the contract with that doctor.
Somebody needs to ask to see the district's Medicaid Policies.

The state needs to come down hard on License Professionals, who purposefully sent kids information to someone's house without parent consent!

Why wouldn't we just use our own local doctors? What's wrong with keeping business in town? Unless of course there is something your trying to hide.

Has anyone asked the school board members why they continue to hire liars and thieves to these administrative positions? What is being hidden from the public? How much money was paid to Wanda Hartmann to go back to Nebraska and keep her mouth shut? How much money will the taxpayers have to shell out to cover up this new guy's mistakes? ENOUGH!!!

Is it legal for a doctor to sign prescriptions for kids and then shred the documentation within the first year? That is what the Coop director of Special education is telling us in an apology letter that stated they sent our child's personal information to some doctor by mistake!
Something does not add up here, and I think we are going to be calling the Board of Healing Arts to find out if this is legal.
This letter that was sent out is very unprofessional and smacks of downright dishonesty!
I thought the new director that the school board hired was going to straighten out the mess that was left by Wanda Hartman. This letter does not give any indication that anyone is trying to straighten out anything== just more lies and coverup.
School board===when will you show families out here that you are truly doing the best for our children? And when will you stop wasting our tax dollars on people who can't tell the truth?
All we hear is how the budget is being cut---how about making better choices---starting NOW.
