Im not shure if there are any already havn't been able to find them but, If anyone else is with me on this idea I'd be more than willing to start one. Have get togethers,cookouts, etc at local parks and area's. Hold small shows with varios prizes and catagories(biggest head, shortest, widest,heaviest etc.) Eventually maybe have bigger shows with some of texas's top breeders stopping by. I think it would be a good idea, lots of pit bull owners in this area be a good way to meet ppl with a mutual love of the greatest dog breed ever. Anyways, let me know what you think

I haven't herd of any around here but I would love to join one. My pit is the sweetest thing alive and I would love to be around people that are not scared of him.

I know exactly what you mean they get such a bad reputation, I hate it when I walk mine at the park and ppl shy away or tell their kids to get away, but anyways, theres one if i get some more support for this Im more than willing to start it, ill put together a web page and everything. Im shure everyone else would have a lil something to add or help with.

well im really disapointed in the lack of intrerest I have recieved for this topic. Maybe i just posted it in the wrong place, if anyone knows of a better site or forum etc. to post this topic please let me know

You received a lack of interest because the people around here thinks that pits are monsters. I know a fw people with pits so I will ask them but chances are you will have to staryt your own club - at which I am on board for my baby to have new friends. Post something on your myspace and I will do the same. Put something on Craigslist as well. SOOOOO many people check that out. |

thats the way i feel, I hate all the negativity that most ppl have towards pit bulls and just want a way for everyone around that loves pits to get together with other ppl and dogs. Im posting a ad on craigslist right now, hopefully that will get more attention

I got 2 pitbulls that been with me since my daughters been born. The biggest problem i have with them and my kids are is the dogs slobber all over the kids.lol

I was wounded in Iraq and am now in a wheelchair, I am getting out of the army and I am looking for a pitbull to keep me company. I have been a fosterchild sencse I was 2 so I dont have anyone to live with once I get out. I need him as a friend and as a buddy to protect me when I am alone in the house. we need to have a pit bull club me and my husband have 2 a blue male and a brindle female. and they just love to play with our 3 yr old son.
