Phil D Miller DISTROYED it…. Why? When he placed 57 witnesses on a sheriff’s bus and transported them to the Sheriff’s office attempting to solve the senseless murder of Mr. Bobby Tillman the youth gave a deaf ear to Phil D Miller and his staff."
I seem to remember that act was crucial in obtaining the information needed to identify the kids who murdered Tillman in such a dispicable fashion.

if I read this correctly, he is saying that the Sheriff's Office blew their only opportunity to curb the meth problem with our youth because deputies put teens on a bus to solve the sensless beating death of a teen by other teens that had nothing to do with drugs at all. And the murder was solved because they did that very thing.

I think we are reading that correctly, and that disturbs me.

Okay, I just went back and checked media reports on the Bobby Tillman Murder just to be sure, even though I didn't think I was wrong, and ANYONE (captiols for Johnson and his backers) who think the Sheriff's Office did anything wrong on this is an idiot and confirms that he must have people pushing him to run and he does not have a clue of what is going on in this county. To say what the Sheriff's Office did on that night is wrong, not to mention has anything to do with drug abouse, is totaly ignorant! CAPITAL LETTERS AND ALL! Drugs were not even mentioned in that murder. They beat that poor boy to death for no reason.

OMG! paragraph 2 "The current administration is not looking out for the betterment of our Communities. For some reason, the current administration is worried about building 117 million dollar jail and not concerned with teaching our youth and assisting parents in imparting knowledge and wisdom into our YOUTH while they are in school and our communities. Author Margaret Mead once said and I quote,“There is no greater insight into our future than recognizing, when we save our children, we save ourselves…”

The current administration is looking forwar to the next 50 years! Most of those old fart wont even be around for 10 more but they are looking toward the future! If you don't think we need a 1500 bed jail you truly do not need to be D.C.'s Sheriff because you obviously think everybody needs a hug and not jail. At first I liked your way of thinking and thought I'd like to have you as an employee at the Sheriff's Office but the more I read...I don't think you even write youre own stuff. Wow!

btw, just because you paid for all your photographs doesn't mean you have to post all of them. Where are your photographs with ANYONE (captitals)who supports you in the county? NAACP reps, School Board, L.E., Fire, EMS?

Dark is not an issue if they are qualified. I'm just pointing out that this guy poped out of nowhere. Somthing is rotten in the state of Denmark.

A 1500 bed jail is not big enough. I'd bet that most first offenders become repeat offenders. The goal should be to deter repeat offenders. One strike, go to jail.

I have lived in Douglas County for 18 years and have never seen a Sheriff parade his family around on a website. What kind of dangerous situation would that be?
