I don't know what background most of the people posting here come from, but if you have received a ticket from the police, or have been interviewed by a Sherwood officer, you probably did something to deserve it.

Working with the general public is a tough job. Most people are not at their best when they have been held accountable for their actions.

My family has lived in Sherwood for the past 13+ years and enjoy this community, in part, due to a very professional and responsive Police Department.

I too have received a speeding ticket (one I deserved). I have never experienced or observed any of the unprofessional behavior that has been posed on this blog.

Most of the postings on this blog seem to be from individuals living in other cities. Given the disrespect that is demonstrated by the majority of these postings, we that live in Sherwood and enjoy our community would prefer you continue living anywhere but here..........

Thank goodness no one listens to you, then. You're not in charge. You're just a nobody.

Thank goodness you're not in charge of where everyone else lives then, you Gestapo nut. This is a forum, not a church. You can't order where people live, or our opinions of where we live. Go take a hike.

From your response above, and all of your mindless babbling in your other postings, I am sure you go through life only seeing the problems that are everyone elseís fault but yours.

You might want to question if YOU ARE THE CONSTANT in a life where you blame everyone else, YOU ARE ALSO PROBIBLY the problem in most circumstances.

No need to respond, I am sure it will be just another thoughtless spew of vomiting nonsense.

Maybe you need to stop listening to those " Everyone Loves Everyone" tapes. Your brain is turning to mush. At least I know of ONE person who thinks Sherwood is Mayberry! You might want to try some anti wrinkle cream too to help control those wrinkle lines from your constant smiling and insane unreasonable pot head happiness. One day, maybe you'll join the REAL world and be able to take off your rose colored glasses. As for me? Ima gonna keep posting.:)

I thought Sherwood was a training site for police officers and then those officers go on to other cities.??? We have had 2 interactions with the Sherwood police, one our tags said the month & the year and we figured we had til then. The policeman politely informed us there was a specific date also and we were past it. He told us to look at our registration cards. Never in our lives had we known that you had to go by the date too. He wasn't wrong legally for stopping us and he just gave us a warning. Now was that anal? I'm not a policemen so I don't know. The second time we had decorations taken from our front yard. Our manager told us to call even though we thought there's no way police would show up for this (we just moved here to live near our family who has lived here for 15 years. They came, took it seriously beings theft is a crime. If they felt we were stupid for calling about it there was no indication. They acted professionaly from start to finish. I still have the officers card and I feel confident if I ever do really need help that the Sherwood police would be there. I for one appreciate that and that our family is safer for it. And if you don't want the police to have to stop you to fill the quota then friggen get off your ass in the next town meeting and go raise some money for them. They don't get paid nearly enouph risking their lives everday. And our system for paying isn't enouph either, they're always getting shorted. I am not a police hugger but show some respect. So when that's you they're cutting out of a overturned car from getting smashed by the person who ran a stop sign you remind yourself how stupid you thought that was!

I could not agree with you more..........

Our experience has been that the Sherwood Police have always been professional and polite. Not sure why so many of the posts here have such negative opinions and comments regarding their experience with Sherwood law enforcement.

I rather suspect that you could change the name of the city and they would have just about the same comments regarding the police in any community.

When the SHTF who do you think they will call expecting immediate help. You are right on with your comments.

Hello !!!!! Did everyone miss me? I couldn't help but to notice that while I was busy working, the very FEW of you who see through rose colored glasses and luvs the SPD have found the time to posts more luv for the SPD. How is it that you were able to posts anything while your favorite Disney shows were on?

What? I can't HEAR you! Your heads are stuck in the sand like ostriches while you all practice

See no evil
Hear no evil

It must be nice to live in Fairy Land. The rest of us will Community Watch the SPD for you while ya'll bake your cookies and paint your toenails.

Is it REALLY considered non biased when the SPD officers take turns WHILE ON DUTY to give positive judge marks aimed at THEMSELVES?

Unbelievable. Seriously.

I've read all of these posts. YOU ARE A REAL KOOK. From your last post, you now have shown anyone who reads what you write that you make baseless statements -- unless of course you can prove any thing you are saying.

Unbelievable. Seriously

Looks like its time to pull out the Topix Rule Book. I don't use foul language or threaten anyone. Therefore, I can post all I want. You may, however, practice self control and choose to NOT read my posts.

And thank you kindly for showing me just what pushes your button. I look forward to a long and happy posting relationship on this site.

God Bless America and all my wonderful freedoms.

Really. Seriously.

I still am curious as to wether or not the Sherwood Police Department is a training hub....? Think the only way that I'll get that answer is if I call the non-emergency line. That would explain why there's so many of them in one town and why there are so many traffic stops for even the littlest of things. Well anyways, I'd be interested to finding out if it is. I just keep the following guides while I am driving in Sherwood....don't speed, don't break the obvious rules, don't take off from a stop quickly, come to a full stop at a stop sign and just continue going the legal speed wether they slow down or speed up. And lastly, but most important of all double cross your fingers and toes that you didn't forget something or fowl up because you were nervous. I use deep breathing.:)

Interesting that Jamillís first location was in Tualatin, OR and this post is Portland, OR. That is very unusual, I believe we have 2 different Jamill posters. REALLY, you have to stoop to that low of a level to slam the SPD,ÖÖÖ.. thatís just pathetic.

THANK YOU for clearing up my misunderstanding. I was under the misperception that bloggers on Topix and other blog sites were making comments that were sincere expressions of their experiences, opinions or observations. AND that facts, truth and a sense of fairness and respect were part of their character as they bogged.

I now understand from your remarks that (at lease this topic on Topix) is a forum for bitter complainers, like you, to make baseless slanderous statements about individuals like the selfless Sherwood Police Department, and those that appreciate their service to our community.

Given the dribble you continue to post on this topic, I am done posting at this site. If I want to read really bad fiction, Iíll go to a second hand store and buy a 5-cent fiction book. At least that will have more useful information than your postings.

P.S. You have clearly demonstrate that you have no understanding of the sacrifices that are made daily that provide you those wonderful freedoms.

I totally agree with you. What a waste of brain cells reading any posts by G_woman. And, yes I believe the same person DID NOT write the 2nd post from Jamill. The tone and content are totally different.

Pathetic, yes...

Living in Sherwood and Bystander are the same person.
Yawn..stretch...ho hum..seen this before...Both are coming from Portland Or and both are using the SAME exact judge marks. Yawn..stretch....

Smells like either a former cop who got caught with his pants down again or an overly protective parent.

Unbelievable.
Seriously.
Totally uncreative.
