I'm a bit too close for my comfort to the austin line in Oak Park. Got a couple of 8s on the block. Fortunately there is a constant visible police presence round the clock. The comments have been disabled re the 18yr old creature who put her newborn in a bag in the backseat of the car. Her attorney is heralding her as courageous because she gave birth unattended. What hope is there with this much unfettered craziness?

The point of the story is that this monster attacked two small children, one a baby, and a woman.

I hope the guards at his post-sentencing delivery to prison tell all the other cons what this guy did.

Clearly this was nothing more then a misunderstanding: Whilst swatting a fly or mosquito that was annoying the woman, the kindly fellow simple brushed the bat (more then likely this was an exaggeration, it was probably a rolled up newspaper) across the woman’s hair. At this point she dropped to the ground in typical female over-exaggeration /hysteria and knocked her self out on the floor that she should be been cleaning.

Moral of the story: Women should be cooking and cleaning, not talking.

If the sanctimonious Pollyanna interpretation works for you, fine. However, from a logical viewpoint, it IS ALL ABOUT the absence of responsible social behavior brought about by generations of useless existence, living off the taxpayers. These incidents are not isolated domestic problems. They are being reported on a daily basis. Yes it's sickening to think of what happened to the innocent children through no fault of their own. As for the 'adults' you reap what you sow. You cannot ignore the larger picture that creates such misery as this.
