such a tragic accident, prayers are with all the families and the driver of the truck who must be as much in shock, as the rest of the communites, may god help you cope with this accident also.

I think everyone needs to pray not just for the family and friends of those killed but especially for the driver who survived. My heart just goes out to her....she will need so much support. No one needs to try to figure out what and how it happened....IT WAS AN ACCIDENT...which anyone is capable of....love that kid and help her through this..

When I first heard about this I was in disbelief and sorrow. My neice and nephew new the victims involved in the accident. My family is praying for the families, friends, and Ulysses town. Very sad and tragic but with the support of the community and everyone else these affected families and friends shall get through this. Revelation 21:3,4

My Prayers & Thoughts are with all the Families but my concern is for the Truck Driver who will have to live with this horriablr tragic the rest of his life & every time he gets in a Big Rig if ever he does again. Not Everyone knows how the Big Rig Drivers Suffer for this kind of accident when it happens. Please Pray for him Also.

Please in the coming weeks and months don't forget the families of these girls and the survivor. After a tragedy like this in the beginning it seems you have so much support and so many people around you then all of sudden you find yourself sitting alone and the phone does not ring, no one comes over, the mail box is empty and you feel abandoned! There are many effected but these families will have to deal with this on a daily basis the rest of thier lives. There life will no longer go on as they once knew it. So please take the time to be there for them they are really going to need it! My prayers are still with all of you effected by this.

Just wondering will the driver be charged with involuntary manslaughter? Look at the lady who left her child in the car. Charges were filed against her and it was an accident.

did they prove any neglect on her part? None that I have heard about. Shes a kid! It was an accident! Are any of the parents blaming her? No. Whats wrong with you? An idiot leaving a baby in the car is completely different than a car accident.

In many jurisdictions death that results from the operation of a vehicle in a criminally negligent manner is punishable as a separate offense. Usually it is considered a less severe offense than involuntary manslaughter. These jurisdictions usually call the offense reckless homicide, negligent homicide, or vehicular homicide.

You are sick if all you are hoping for is that Jennifer's life be ruinned even more than it already has been. She has already been through so much and her life will never be the same. How can anyone with a heart hope for things like these??? You 2 are sickos and should be ashamed of yourselves. People are greiving and you want to talk about that?? Have some RESPECT and go do something GOOD with your life.

I learned about this heart-breaking tragedy through, of all places, eBay. As an ex-Kansan and father of a daughter, my heart goes out to the families and whole town (which, like any small town, IS one big family). Buckle up, pay attention, drive defensively, do everything you can to get the odds in your favor, because the roads and traffic are dangerous out there.

Those of you who think she should be charged need to lok at it from her point of view she lost 4 or her closest friends and has to suffer from short term memory lose she has been through enough already. It was an accident, My prayers are with susan and brian and the rest of the families that have been affected from this tragic event.
