This place is a disgrace no shame at all. This guy is a joke sells us damaged furniture and thinks he can get away with it. Avoid this place at all cost. You shouldn't be doing business in a good area you don't deserve our money thief, liar, cheat, crook,(anything to make a buck) you know who you are you compulsive liar bob!!!!!!!!!!

Do not purchase any furniture from this store. 'Bob', the owner sold me 2 sets of furniture, took 5 weeks to deliver the 2nd set which had a tear in the back of the loveseat. Stated he would replace it but obviously never did. Numerous calls resulted in false promises stating that he had ordered them but no response. He essentially will take your money and not respond. Unscrupulous business tactics. Unethical. Do not buy anything from this store.

I bought a dining room set at the Design Center, the china closet, table top and one of the captain's chairs had numerous defects and scratches. The table top was replaced (which took 2 months) and that also had numerous scratches and dents. Bob has promised me repeatedly that he would replace the china closet and send out a third table top but we have been waiting since December 7th. I would not recommend buying anything from the Design Center; I seem to think that he deals with scratch and dent furniture but does not advertise it. I believe this business is unethical, all they want is your money but do not care about giving you the furniture that you have paid for. Do not buy anything from this business you will be very disappointed as I am. I will definately pursue this and not let it go, it cost way too much money to just sweeep it under the table. I need to go out and buy a new dining room set because the china closet is not usable, broken mirror and shelf along with crooked doors and the numerous scratches prevents me from using it. This dining room set has been in my house since December 7th and I have not been able to enjoy it.
UNSCRUPULOUS, UNETHICAL does not even begin to descrbe this business.

Just to answer a few of the minor complaints we receive from time to time.
"My furniture took x weeks to arrive"- Have you even considered the distance this furniture has to travel to get from China to your living room? My furniture is on the tightest Mapquest schedule available.
"My furniture was received damaged" - Usually our sales people find this to be a load of bunk, when they investigate the matter. Even considering the harsh travel of going from China to your living room, that mirror probably broke because your wife looked into it. And that's a lot more than 7yrs bad luck for you pal.
"All I want is your money" - Duh. I'm in the business of selling things you dolt.

i went to this location to purchase a TV Console,at first they were nice I found the one I wanted in a catalog it looks more like a entertainment unit .I was told I would recieve this unit in 2 days, free delivery, tax free and set up sounded good.. but wrong dealing with this location is a nightmare .Well a week went by and no call from this location so then I phoned and spoke to a lady who told me my unit fell of the truck and was damaged. she told me she did not think I wanted that one, I told the lady she was right I did not want this damaged unit, she then told me they were going to get another from North Carolina and be here in 2 weeks ok fine things happen. Well 31/2 weeks go by no call from this location so I called and asked to speak with the owner I was told he was busy so I left message, 3 days go by no call so I call again by this time I'm getting sick of this. So finally Bob said it will be here in couple days. As of right now I have stopped my credit card and let him figure it out... Liar liar liar

I have already reported him to the BBB and believe me I am not the first. I am also not stopping there, Bob needs to be held accountable for his unethical practices.

ok, let's think about this- you really think "Bob the Owner" is really Bob the owner? that would just be stupid on his end to answer you unprofessionally. the BBB will ultimately get the final say when you write to them & they investigate or you can do what I'm going to do & ruin the biz. I'll be taking a vaca week to show up at the center w/their crap EVERYDAY & cause a scene in front of the other potential customers to show them what you'll get from dealing w/the place.

then you call the media like the ones who investigative shows that will send in hidden cams to further show his practices. I'll give you a hint- one has their office off city line ave. I can't tell you more, I'll just wait till the episode airs.

No you won't get your furniture and I have heard he is closing very soon and running with your and other people's money. He is in deep debt and is planing to give his business to a liquidator and run. This is not a rummer it is the truth.

I wish I read all your posts, I am fighting with the guy now. 3 months I been waiting for a bedroon set that was orgianilly sent damaged he has my money and I have a empty room.And he wont answer the phone.
