“Sometime in the early morning hours Monday, she inflicted serious injuries to Mr. Carbin's neck with a sharp instrument, causing his death,” the prosecutor said.
Carbin's body was found in his apartment about 1:15 p.m. Monday by his teenage daughter.
Forming the basis for the felony murder (a homicide in the course of committing another crime) and the robbery charges, Hummel is believed to have taken gift cards, an undisclosed amount of cash and personal belongings from the victim.
“She was seen shopping at a local store later that morning,” Dalton said

This is a terrible crime. Another disservice is the way the family members were treated by the homicide detectives and local law enforcement officers. I know this for a fact because I heard it directly from one of the family memebers. He was not happy at all with the way he was treated by the so-called law enforcement officers....tisk tisk shame on them!
