Great Town!

I have lived in Tawas my entire life. I was even born in the local hospital. Most of my family is from Tawas. I wouldn't want it any other way. When there is a problem, we get help. When we loose our jobs, the community takes care of eachother. The people who visit for only a couple weeks or live here for a month can't possible understand the relationships the members of this community has formed. We look out for eachother. Most of us consider eachother family. A great example of this is when I walk into Wal-mart. As soon as I walk in I see people who I know and who know me. People who are friends and family who are willing to do anything to help eachother in a time of need. The church that I attend is another great part of this town. It's not just a town or a church or a job, it's family and friends in every aspect of life.

Fantastic Tiffany! You're right! This is a great place to live. A true sense of community and caring. Thank you for reminding us what we should already know. We should be proud of our towns, our communities and strive to make them even better.
