A few things to clarify, "safe in willard" you need to spell check your posts before you post anything because you automatically sound more ignorant than your post would make you appear even if it were grammatically correct. Second, Randy Moore contracting with Charlie Mack has nothing to do with greed and money. Maybe Charlie didn't tell his employees about why he was selling because he has motives that he does not want the general public to know. As far as Randy working for several employers in Willard, as far as I know he has worked at Drug Mart for the past several years. If he was really working there to study market trends so that he can undercut the competition I doubt that he would have stayed that long. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that he has a family to provide for? And as for bringing in less quality products, I doubt that you have a thorough understanding of the grocery business and what products are quality and what aren't. So since the store in Plymouth will continue to operate under the same franchise that Charlie operated, the products will be the same. And one last comment about the employees say in the whole deal, it is common knowledge that they are unionized. So they can not/will not be fired. So if Charlie's "drones" aren't happy they can quit or take it up with Mack.

quality has nothing to do with it.......it is a business deal period. Which they own by the way. Employees will always feel stung by the queen bee, when their employment longevity is threatened or changes surface within an organization. Stop with the accusations upon the people in charge. The union protects all in case your unaware/Nothing more than an negotiation. As long as cooperation exists between existing employees the agency should prosper and retain jobs. Quit with the complains and rejoice in the opportunity of still having a job. I do not understand why you want to slander these business owners/managers,

Being familiar with the situation I can assure 'safe in willard' that money and greed were not involved with the sale of the store. There is no low quality product being brought in. The store is still supplied by Supervalu, there has just been a change in name. As for the employees not knowing what's going on ... that responsibility should have been Charlies. The only employee that lost a job was fired by Charlie a month before the sale. The employees that I know are enthusiastic about the change. And as far as i know there are only two brothers, John and Charlie, the former of which held no ownership. As for the mom? I'm sure she's doing just fine. If somebody wants to get upset about grocery store workers losing their jobs maybe they should find out what happened to the employees of the grocery store in Willard (Foodtown) when their store got purchased ... oh about 6 years ago. If you don't know about 90% of the employees lost their jobs despite Foodtown being unionized.
