Store is LAME. Nobody that works there knows anything about the items they are selling. Even the prices!

A lot of Chinese/Indian glass they are trying to pass off as American made.

Better to go to the real Pros at The Shop just down the street, or acrat is even a better choice then hollywood

Gee, i wonder if this guy is connected in some way to those other stores.
Trust me, HOLLYWOOD SMOKIN is awesome.

Larry - you obviously are not familiar with glass; roor is german glass made in US; Syn is american, liquid is american, as is everything that i saw. Im glad hollywood sells american; some of the clothes are made in india but im pretty sure its that fair trade stuff.

Dear Larry, You are right, the people working there aren't that educated on what they have,(but I do like the fact that they seem like you & I, instead of pro's trying to sell us). I do have to disagree with you tho, on the glass. Like Wow man, what a selection,(it made me hard)
Other than a couple of hooka's i didn't see ANY "Chinese or Indian" glass. The companies that they have are mostly "First Class". Prices did seem a little high, but shit, they have 25% Off everything,(even the clothes and jewelery) And the guy who works there told me that if i see anything cheaper, they'd beat that price.(also, I don't need anyone to tell me what an ash catcher or a shower head or a bubbler, or a nail is), Do You?

Wow Larry was correct . Easy to see that 3 Hollywood employees called him a liar . I have never been to any shop selling stuff that they are clueless about . And what a joke the VIP room is , nothing worth joining up for . No one told me they were using my Drivers Liscense to copy the info into there database , allowing me VIP access . Only cost me a few bux to enter , left with a V card grinder . Glad I listened to Larry and hit up The Shop . I got the best deal ever on a illadelph rasta beaker . All I can say is SHOP around

Face it, folks, Northfield cannot attrtact any quality businesses. Want an eyeopner? Just drive down U.S. Route 9 from Northfield into Linwood, or what is more stark, come from Linwood into Northfield and see for yourselves the QUALITY of the busnesses and just the general appearence, between these two towns. It's shocking! Northfield comes off as a dump when comng from Linwood and you cross the City Line between these two cities in to Northfield. Don't believe me, try it and then get back to me! Same applies to Somers Point!

@ Josh...you need to face it. This entire region cannot sustain any decent higher end retailers. For every person with $ there is 10 that are on welfare. This region is saturated with poverty and the lack of amenities reflects as such. What the hell worthwhile businesses are located in Linwood? A handful of "high end" overpriced boutiques for the pseudo-wealthy linwoodites shilling trendy trinkets, marked up designer duds and a few places to eat. Linwood doesn't have any significant ratables within their borders. Their Rt. 9 corridor basically only has office space and a few small businesses & Shore Rd. has a few mom/pop shops. Being a transplant from the Philly western burbs I chuckle at the Linwood people that think they live anywhere worthwhile from the perspective you're coming from at least.

a couple of my buddies and gained access to the vip room by becoming members and all they asked was for my name and phone number so i don't know what you're talking about with the whole drivers license thing and let me tell you guys the vip room is like nothing I've ever seen before, in fact the whole store is like nothing I've ever seen before. The amount of glass they have is ridiculous not to mention the variety. SEE IT FOR YOURSELF.

Larry must work for the competition? I found them to be pleasant, informed and not pushy. Prices were better than the "A" store and I didn't feel the shady vibe. Big selection. My brother and I were struck by how much glass they had. My advice, go and decide for yourself. Merry Christmas! Even you "Larry".

It's funny that "John from Northfield" who happens to be posting from Hunting Valley Pa would give a shit about some LAME head shop in Northfield NJ. And "John from Northfield"... Or Owner of Hollywood Joke, I did a search of headshops from Huntington Valley PA to Northfield NJ and I lost track of counting at 60+ headshops closer then Hollywood Smokin.

Don't know why Larry has such a bone to pick...honestly does he have any credibility at this point? Any objective consumer wohldnt take such am interest in bashing a place.
I don't work at Hollywood but I've been there...as well as ACRAT which is a dump. ACRAT got busted for selling synthetic. That should tell you all you need to know about them.
Hollywood had tons of glass and the employees couldn't have been more helpful. I guess Larry either tried to get them to carry his awful glass... Or he has an interest in another local shop. There seems to be some rivalry between 3 local shops.
I also don't know about the weird political undertones. Bottom line if its not the best shop around...it's at least as good as any others. It's worth a look if nothing else. They have everything that you could possibly want.

Ehh, I can't believe how untrained the sales staff is. This place actually hired old ladies that are scary to talk to. The one old lady with the biker husband, kept talking about using a vaporizer while riding on the back of her husbands motorcycle. All I wanted to know was how the PAX worked and all she could do was puff and gag on that ecig. Hollywood Smoking is a total fail in my book.

No way , your talkin bout Stacy . Your right , she does really love here New E-cig . She puffs it soo much , its hard to talk with her while browsing . And I have seen here on the parkway pax'ing on Parkway riding behind hubby lol . It's really hard seeing this place lasting . Seems more like a Dream/Fairytale , then a profitable business . I bought a bong from there last summer. The guy forgot to put the stem in and gave me the wrong sized bowl. I had to drive back the next day and battle with them about it. That was my first and last purchase from them.

This place is a dump! First of all some middle aged dark haired broom stick riding woman sold me an over priced e-cigarette with additional add ons, liquid,atomizers, a spare tank. When she sold it to me she was real nice and helpful and within minutes after I bought it she tried to also sell me a Pax which they have priced for fifty dollars more then online shops. When I decided to check the price online inside the store she realized I wouldn't be buying it there, so she started being rude. I already spent 167 dollars in there, but her being the idiot she is her true colors shined through. After that I had to go back in to ask why my e-cig leaked all the time and she avoided me and a younger girl tried to help but her knowledge on the subject was less then mine. The bottom line is that this place is a joke and they think its the Bees knees. Well, that's an honest accessment and by the way I am not premoting The Shop or Acrat they are mediocre as well but at least they don't have an evil idiot working for them either which is a plus. DO NOT SHOP AT HOLLYWOOD SMOKING THE SHEDEVIL WILL TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND SUPPORT THE KILLING OF POLAR BEARS....and I know we all love polar Bears....(;
