I heard the guy that conned me is living in Clarence. Just released from prision. He prey's on lonely women and is a con man. He stole my credit cards and wrote checks out of my account. He turned my life upside down. I read on case.net he was living in Clarence. He likes to hang in bars and if you meet a very charming man, do a background check, it's free at the local police.

Could you give more information please?? Age, description, Was he in prison because of conning you or some other reason?

Brown hair, 6 FT a distinctive scar on his upper lip. I did prosecute and he did end up in prision. Not to mention his track record the cops showed me.(a file as thick as a phone book) I was totally shocked. You just never know that's why when I read he had an address in Clarence MO. Just fore warning. He told me all kinds of BS like he was a truck driver, etc, etc... If you are single and meet someone that seems too good to be true do a back ground check for your own safety and sanity.

I have apparently not came across him, but then I don't go to bars. I was just thinking small town, I might have met him someplace or seen him around....about what age...where did he live before he had a Clarence addy?

Last name is Slaton..I was lucky he told me his "real" last name. Apparently he has many alias's. I will go to the above websites, but I don't have his pic. He has a southern accent. Oh and he likes to shoot guns, always hanging at meat shoots and things like that.

I couldn't agree more Katt; however, the prosecuting attorney down in Scott County told me he is not a violent criminal, so he will do a few and get out. Probably do it over and over again. People like him that con people and steal from people, not to mention get fake eloans in their name..the list goes on and on... should have the 3 strike rule.
