Who cares. This place had mediocre food with mediocre to poor service. I'd much rather go to a buffet - higher qualify of food and service.

You get out of it what you put into it. This is not a surprise to anyone who has been there in the last few months. I live in Cicero, and thought it was closed for cleaning, that's what the sign said anyway. I would have been interested in buying some of the furnishings, but never knew about any sale.

when asked why the restaurant closed, one patron replied "we would try, time and time again to bring boat loads of people there. But the water level was too low and we could never reach the dock.

who manages this reservoir anyways?

I hope someone puts in a pub/restaurant place again. That area needs more than Wolfie's on the water. They better not put CONDOS there!!!!

I was less than impressed with a catering job for which my family hired them. We ended up getting ripped off as to what we ordered and what we were charged and Mr. Heffelmire's response to me over all this was "too bad." Not happy to see a locally owned business go out and condos come in, but you have to have better customer service to keep your customers coming back.

Had MANY good times at the Waterfront, and the hotel ;), back in the 80s and early 90s when it was a decent place to go. With the Uptown, and many other places around from those days, now closed Noblesville sure has changed wholesale in 10 years. Ah "progress"...

Heffelmire was a good host for the first few months when he re-opened it. After that, his troubled personal life took over. Every employee who proved to be an asset was eventually run off or quit due to poor treatment. Poor food, poor service, miserable atmosphere, and filthy facilities doomed the place. Not sure which was nastier, the ladies room or the fish tank in the hallway...both had a repulsive stench. I was told "too bad" once when my fillet arrived dry as a cracker. No free drink, no discount, no apology, no nothing My husband and I never went back. Wolfie's will be next, it's a dump too...with a horrible fly epidemic going on in there.

Sad but true... The place was lucky to operate as long as it did.

Used to be such a nice place years ago. I'm sure we'll just see more of those condos going up.

They went thru help like crazy. His daughter seemed to be the only constant in the place, and she was lazy.

Daily Horoscope for November 28

Aquarius

With so much to do and so much on your mind, you may feel scattered today. It will be easy to forget dates and appointments, so consider setting an alarm to remind you of important meetings. You may be a bit over-extended and preoccupied at the same time. The telephone may be ringing constantly, providing yet another distraction. Try to focus.
