Recently my husband and I went to Atkinson to meet potential Slaymaker relatives. We were deeply touched by the number of people who came to the cemetery to meet a distant relative from CA, the hospitality that was generously given, and pride each person had in the family history and its many members,along with pride in the community and nation. I am truly blessed to have had such a wonderful experience in my life and such wonderful people to call family.
