I am also thinking about sueing Landauction. They sold me land that can't be built on. I am making monthly payments on these lots that might worth
nothing. I am planning to take legal actions against landauction.
Same problem here in WA... WE purchased a property that is a WET LAND! Never mentioned in the description.

When something appears to be too good to be true, it probably is a scam
Most of the parcels are in there for a reason.
I do know of one person who made a mint. He bought some land locked acreage .But he owned a helicopter timber company.. so he went in there and logged it out .. of course he found out ahead of time that he could log it, but no one had done it before because there was no rad access..
But heard of plenty others who lost money in these things.

Did you find a real estate attorney? I am also seeking to take action against NRLL.

NRLL sold a vacant lot to another buyer a few days after we bought the same lot from NRLL. NRLL Escrow then recorded the 2nd buyer's Deed one month prior to recording our Deed with the Recorder's office. When our Deed went to the Assessor's office, they could not update the parcel's record with our information because there already was recorded owner.

We had bought this lot from NRLL couple years ago and just recently found out that we are not the recorded owner of the land we purchased. NRLL keeps insisting we are the owners per their internal records, but I've investigated with the Assessor's office and found out who the other owner is, when their deed was recorded, NRLL's Contract No. pertaining to the sale of our land to the other owner.

So when I contacted NRLL again with all this info, they said their Deed Dept would investigate and get back to me.

It seems like they have commited fraud. The investigator I spoke with at the County wanted me to keep in contact with him regarding what NRLL plans to do about this "mistake."

Has this happened to anyone else? What is my recourse?

I just got of the phone with a company in horseshoe bay Texas and they informed me that my lot was extremely overpriced. And, while inquiring how to begin the process to file a class action lawsuit I ran across this site. So if you are really interested in getting a suit going, please email me back and let's get the ball rolling.

Be careful, they are scammers. They sell properties and give the wrong directions so that when you go to the auction to bid, you think your getting one property and then you get another.
I lost 33,000. on a piece of property that was already occupied. They said it was my own falult for not checking the proeprty, but I did. I checked the wrong GPS coordinates that they supplied and the wrong driving directions. Then If you try to resolve it, they just blow you off. They are LLC East from Florida. Be careful, it ruined us financially.

Buy land in Bella Vista Arkansas. It is NRPI's best value if they have not sold out yet.

I'm so happy that we have the opportunity to listen to what others have to say about these unscrupulous entities. I was burned once by a scam, and learned to investigate before getting involved. I contacted the Attorney General in Florida to put a light on the situation.. May I suggest that some of the victims of this operation do the same? It may help you recoupe some, if not all of your money. Just know that an epidemic of greed, unethical conduct, criminal and materialistic sickness has our country in it's grips, and it runs into the fibre of the system, even into fannie mae and freddie mac. These systems have been purposefully undermined by short term buyers/borrowers of stock, waiting for the government/taxpayers to bail them out! Hold on to your wallets, we are surrounded by sharks!

I went to one of their auctions and was immediately put off by all the noise, hype, and the guys running up and down the aisles in tuxedos. I did not buy anything because the whole atmosphere screamed "SCAM".

NRPI sold out all of their land in Horseshoe Bay & Bella Vista Arkansas. The values are increasing. I'm building a house in Bella Vista on what they sold me 2 years ago.
