Antelope Mount

I was wondering if anyone had any info regarding an auction of the Hennlich farm in 1979. A mount of an antelope that Joe Hennlich shot, was purchased possibly by someone in Dorchester. Janice (Hennlich) Diesing is my mother-in-law. I am looking to purchase the Antelope mount back. It is the most talked about item that was auctioned off. Many tears were shed over losing it. I want to suprise my husband Chris on his 40th birthday with his grandpa's trophy. Can anyone help me? My email address is breeze_diesing@yahoo.com.

I did not know my husband Chris was looking for this mount. This comment was left on one of his favorite hunting sites, dated 04/05/09:
In the fall of 1979, my grandparents had to sell their farm in Dorchester, WI. That was nearly 30 years ago. The most sentimental item taken in the auction on that cold day was my grandpa's antelope that was hanging up in the breezeway when you entered the farm house. It was the only mount he had. Being a hunter, you can only imagine how sentimental that item is to my family. If you have it, or know somebody that may have it, I'd be willing to pay for it. If you have friends that have an old antelope mount in the garage or basement, please contact me. Grandpa is long gone, but it sure would be nice to have his trophy hanging up on my cabin wall for his great grandkids to appreciate.
