Well, did the bum go to court today?? Does anyone know if the court hearing even happened? Outcome? Thank you very much.

Well - if you are indeed a 'victim'- and if you did contact the FBI (or were contacted by them), or the Justice Department - then you would have been assigned a Victim Identification Number and would have received official announcements of all the goings-ons that the Government has been able to announce to date!

So - WHO are you really - if you are NOT a bonafide and registered VICTIM officially?

no don's trial was pushed back to february, so this will continue to drag on, but at least it gives the fbi plenty of time to solidify their case and make it fairly air tight.

and another victim - why the hate? don is the one going on trial, not the people who lost money or art in the deal. just remember who the bad guy is.

Sorry - just tired of digging out all the 'proof' of Don's carrying-ons - and then finding supposed 'victims' coming out of the woodwork that have not seemed to even care enough about seeing (or helping) justice to be done - to the point they have not even contacted the FBI or the Justice Dept. and voiced their own losses (if any) for the record (that just might help the case that last little bit to put the perp where he probably belongs! And 'Victim in Portland' just comes across like an 'uninvolved bystander' that doesn't want to be involved, or extend any efforts, to see justice - just smacks too much of a trash reporter digging around - or a shill for the other side digging to see what overwhelming evidence might still be on the threat horizon for their client!
However - if 'Victim in Portland' really is a victim - and hasn't yet come forward - for crying out loud, get your horses in gear and get in touch with the FBI/Justice Dept. and give them the evidence of what your losses are! It can only help put this situation in the light it deserves to be!

Listen up.... I am very much a victim, to the tune of over $100,000 and much purchased artwork that I am certain no longer exists. Don't you dare question me. Makes me wonder if you are related to Don?? Yes, I have the victim's information from the FBI, i received Don't confessionary email in March, 2009. And frankly, it is none of your business why I didn't have the email or the snail mail letter handy. Get a life.

OOO some of you are so very judgmental and ill-informed. I wonder why you assume that I haven't done my part with the FBI? I received Don's i'm so sorry email on March 12th and immediately began to pull together every scrap of documentation I had from the 5 years I did business with him. I filed a report with the Cannon Beach police dept, mailed 2 large packages of documentation to the FBI by their original June 1st deadline. I have done my part. Have you? Don will probably get the trial postponed several times. Remember the liar and manipulator he is.

What I don't understand, is how people on here lost their entire retirement? Did you really think it a wise investment to dump hundreds of thousands of dollars into something like this? Either you are greatly exaggerating the amount of money you lost because it makes you feel elite (most likely scenario) or you are a bona fide retard and only had that kind of cash to invest because of dumb luck, which as the saying goes...easy come, easy go.
