Which fundamental laws or hypotheses of science are verifiable?

Can you give the details?

Logic is based on rules.
Really?

Who makes these so-called rules of logic?

Is logic infallible, complete and absolute?

Can you give a few examples?

What're the key differences between British English and American English where vocabulary, syntax, etymology, usage and pronunciation are concerned? Give a few examples.

As time progresses, the observer also flows in time. Can it be said that the observer is evolving?

QUESTIONS:

1) Does physics deal with nature the way it is in its native state or is physics concerned with what we know of nature?

2) Does nature adapt to our way of looking at it or does it present itself to us the way it is?

Oh i reposted the one on the differences in British English and American English with the specific purpose of eliciting an answer from you since you made the observation between the two genres of the language.

You can't make a statement and get away with it.

So, give the differences between British English and American English?

We have presented explanations and citations detailing the illogic in your approach. If you want to claim we dont talk straight, that is your choice, but it only makes you look more foolish.
When you resort to argument from ignorance (which we defined several times) you are not being practical. You are being the opposite of practical. Science is practical, illogical speculation is not. Science is verifiable. Illogical speculation is not.
What I dont get is that there are many relgious people (i.e. people of faith) who understand these boundaries, and base their relgious practice on faith (rather than this illogical attempt to rationalize as you are doing).
What is wrong with basing your beliefs on faith? You already admitted to doing so, but then reverted back to your original illogical approach. In other words - "God is - I take it on faith -there is no reason or rationale for this, it just is". What is so hard about saying this?
Good post. That pretty much sums it all up. MUQ's last resort is playing the victim card again rather than learning proper logic. Intellectually lazy.

Going on vacation so I may go silent for a while. Carry on.

QM & EXPERIMENTER - DISPARITY IN OBSERVER-OBSERVED NATURE:

1) The role of the observer using instruments in observing a quantum event by making measurement is classical, while the quantum mechanical event itself is non-classical.

2) If one is verifying or observing a QM event at work shouldn't the observer and his instruments also be commensurate or governed by the quantum rules?

3) You can't have a glaring disparity of the quantum event being subatomic and following the rules of statistical probability on the one hand and on the other hand we have the observer-instrument system being classical constructs attempting to observe a quantum event.

4) Is this disparity give rise to the probability in observation?

5) Only like can observe or know like.

rabbee: for more than 150 years, we did not pay increasing tribute to the establishment of the church of pastor king george. but now we are paying increasingly, for the establishment of a national church again. even though congress shall establish no religion, and force you to pay tithes to it like king george idoly did.

FUNDAMENTAL QUESTIONS:

1) What constitutes the first impulse towards the manifestation of the universes into form from a pre-existent source?

2) What accounts for order in the universe?

3) Why can the origin of energy/matter never be known through the senses and the sense-informed mind?

4) Can there be several readings of one event? How?

5) What place do chance and randomness have in an ordered universe?

6) Why is it that proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, enzymes and neurotransmitters are never found in the free state in nature but are always associated with protoplasmic activity? What constituted the first impulse towards the synthesis of these molecules and their close association with each other? Why do these molecular systems begin degenerating when an organism dies? Is there anything like subjectivity and objectivity? How?

7) Why can time never be isolated and objectively studied like a physical entity?

8) If the entire chemical recipe of a life form is provided, can a living organism be synthesized from it? How?

9) Why is it impossible to extract thoughts from the brain and to repair, store and manipulate them (thoughts)?

10) Why can we not resurrect a dead organism if life is simply an electro chemical process?

Melchizadok was not a "high priest", he was a "cohen (priest) of God most high".
You should study our torah in its native language - you are missing a lot if not all. But then again I guess "Christians probably use Torah more than Jews" so what do I know.
and NOWHERE did it say that Avram tithed him
18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine; and he was priest of God the Most High.
19 And he blessed him, and said:'Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Maker of heaven and earth;
20 and blessed be God the Most High, who hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand.' And he gave him a tenth of all. http://www.mechon-mamre.org/p/pt/pt0114.htm
The "he" in the three passages is Melchizedek. The guy who brought the bread.
Im not arguing anything here. Im just fishing for your opinions is all.

When I said that Christians probably use the Torah more", it was about 2 things.

A...Christianity is hyper evangelical by nature, where Judaism isnt.

B...Christians way out number Jews in the world.

So, based on that, we probably do use the Torah more.

Anyway, Im just trying to get your position on Melchizedek known so I can relate to what your saying about Melchizedek being just an ordinary person.

But we still have this curious Messianic prophecy to resolve, and Melchizedek comes up again in it.

"The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek."...Psalm 110: 1-4

Hmm...?

exactly my point (and then some). Paying taxes is not necessarily a religious experience. It could be, I suppose. But not necesarily.

AS far as the "and then some": The world has changed a little since the days of King George. We now have automatic garage door openers and disposable diapers. ANd there are entire blogs dedicated to the earthshaking possibility that the new Iphone5 may have a 2 mV larger battery.

Daily Horoscope for May 20

Taurus

If a friend has been bugging you recently, you are likely to have a few sharp words with them today. However, least said soonest mended, so don't labour the point or turn them against you. Besides, you have better things to do with your time now, such as taking part in a big gathering of likeminded people or having a long chat with one special person.
