New store carries all things lacrosse

I'd like to see the No-Mall group protest this completely unnecessary blight on that corner of 8th and Eaton. Now their time has come, not protesting the Lowes and related projects.

Another 24/7 soulless CVS taking up prime real estate. Of course the city approved it! KACHING! It's a shame, the tear down of the EDS building and the vacant lot held so much more promise and chance at innovativeness than yet another CVS store.

I'd rather have that half chrome circa 1950's style toaster, half Bose Wave Radio looking building at the vacant lot than another CVS!

Seriously, I hear you! Where were the articles in M. Call about the city approving CVS for this site? Last I knew, the modernist office building was supposed to be built there. There are at least 5 CVS stores within about 2 miles of this location. There's the one on W. Broad Street (West Side), the one at E. 4th St. and Broadway (South Side), one halfway down Union Blvd.(East Allentown), one at Schoenersville and Airport Rds.(by Gregory's), and one on Woodlawn Ave.(N. Bethlehem). DO WE NEED ANOTHER ONE?? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Come on "No Mall"! Set up a protest, and I'll be there.

I wish I could get a vacation right now!
