obediah's steak and seafood

I just learned today that the city of sheldon was lied to by the owner of cedar rock and a insurance office in sibley they decieved us when they talked the city concil into giving them 50,000 to help a man named obediah yo open a resturant and they named it obediah's after him only to kick him to the curve after stealing his recipes ideas and dreams just because people have money can they lie to us and cheat us

all i know is i have eaten there 3 times and i knew something was wrong thursday night when i didnt see obediahs bubbly face in the dinning room so i asked i man said he was les from the cedar rock grill were obediah was and he told me that obediah was on vacation. now i find out they lied and took his resturant with his name on it away from him. is there know shame in these people poor obediah

does anyone know a good lawyer to help this poor man out

i have known obediah for years, and what these people did to obediah was not only down right low, it was one of the dirties tricks ever. i have never seen, nor heard of anyone work as hard as obediah did to get this place off the ground. please lets not let these dirty people take away what one man worked so hard to start. if they wont let the true man behind obediahs have what was promised him, then please help spread the word of what kind of people these people truely are. in hopes everything can go back to the way they should be, and that is to have obediah back in HIS resturant.

It seems that Karma may be at work for poor Obediah, as I inderstand it he "stole" the majority of the recipies that he was using from the Chef that he worked with previously. Now Obediah's the place is a theif by proxy.
It is considered very bush league to take another Chef's work effort and claim it as your own.

Those people will run that restaurant into the ground, just like they did with Cedar Rock in Rock Valley and Nederlanders in Orange City. Both places are horrible.

I feel bad for Obediah and his restaurant, both seemed to be good additions to Sheldon.

I can"t believe Iowa chef is so misinformed in his statements above, I personally ate at Cafe Creo/Raging Cajun on numerous occasions and I'm proud to say I was one of Chef Obediahs ginny pigs as far as some of the dishes he has created. One of his signature dishes is the STUFFED SNAPPER and my friends and I would purposely eat at his restaurant on Tuesdays so we could try his new ideas, in a way I would like to think we put alot of input in his creations and maybe Chef Iowa should sign his real name on this blog unless his statements are without merit !!! One last thing in closing , I hope Obediah sues the people that have stolen his restaurant, his recipes and his name. GO OBEDIAH !!!!
