Great job Channel 6, lets report one side of a story and spin it so everyone feels sorry for the victim and make it sound like he was completely innocent of everything. Maybe that is the case, but I doubt it. Why the media enjoys making cops look bad is beyond me. I know there are a few bad ones out there, but most do a great job at a very stressful job.

Well excuse the rest of us officer we had forgotten that all police officers are good and can do no wrong WOW...Enlighten us please to make the rest of your subjects as bright as YOU...We have heard about his record or you would say his criminal history...Please tell us about henrico police record how many roag officers have been made to answer for breaking the laws that they are supposedly sworn to up hold, and give us the numbers on how many tax payers have been TAZZED in henrico and how many other cases there are similar to the one we are witnessing in front of us now....so please take time from doing rocket science analysis an put yourself in our shoes...He is not going after all police officers just the officer involved in this incident....HE WHO JUDGE'S WILL ULTIMATELY ONE DAY BE JUDGE....

I hate when this kind of thing happens to our community. Everyone has an opinion and not necessarily a good one. I guess it all boils down to us all being human, officers too! Some officers have the GOD complex, and in my opinion that is what happened here. Some times we need to let things roll off our backs and not try to use power to try to intimidate people. How can you not expect people to defend themselves when they are being attacked, even when it is the police. Also, when did tickets stop being mailed to your home. If the cops weren't doing anything wrong then why all the fuss about a ticket. A stamp would have been a lot cheaper don't you think??(Don't Respond, it was rhetorical)

Everybody wants to blame the police when they mess up. As soon as u need the police you want to call them. If you were not driving like a fool the police would have never bothered you. So instead of taking your ticket you want to get an attitude with the police. Im sure there are two sides to the story. Im from NJ and ever since i've been in VA I have never had a problem with the police and I have recieved tickets. If you dont act like an idiot they give you your ticket and let you go. Unless you are suspended or DUI. Im sure its more to this that this fella is not telling. Guess what by making a complaint you issues do not go away. I hope the police lock your butt up and the officer sues you for defermation of character.

WTVR I hope justice prevails in this case. If the facts come out and the Officer was in the right I hope you will give that as equal air time as the accusations here. If the accusations are true may the victims recieve the vindication that they would deserve.
I guess the media has forgotten the last time the slandered a Henrico Officer over a Taser incident before they had all the facts. That Officer now has a lawsuit pending against that victim and several media personalities for slander and defamation of character. Hmmmm no follow on that aspect of the story? How about giving us all the facts for once?

The cops feel the same rules that apply to society do not apply to them. There has to be accountability for their actions and I hope this is investigated and not swept under the rug.

It's my understanding a citation needs to be written, or an arrest made, at the time of the offense. Why change into uniform, get into a police cruiser, and then come back? And come back a second time to try and get him to sign a "warrent"?

I DO BELIEVE THAT THE MAJORITY OF ALL POLICE OFFICERS NO MATTER THE JUSRIDICTION USE EXCESSIVE FORCE, AND THAN THEY WONDER WHY THE PUBLIC HATE TO DEAL WITH THEM AT ALL AND JUST HATE THEM IN GENERAL BECAUSE THEY MAKE MAJOR MISTAKES AS WELL WHO GIVES THEM A TICKET FOR SPEEDING WHEN THERE IS NO EMERGENCY...NO ONE IT'S PRACTICALLY ALWAYS HAVE BEEN CLASSIFIED AS BULLSH*T IN MY BOOK!!!! WE NEED FAIR JUSTICE!!!! ASAP

Wow... I moved with my family here in April and I can't say I'm surprised by this story, given what I've seen thus far by local law enforcement.

At every turn there are officers hiding in the woods with radar guns, officers standing at intersections watching for someone to roll-through a stop sign. Worse yet, a few weeks ago an officer ahead of us on 295 decides to slam on the brakes and cut through the median... nearly causing a 9 car pile-up.

In this guy's defense, maybe he was dodging the craters on 295, which made him drive erratically... I know I do!

And for heaven's sake... no smiling in your drivers license picture!!! We don't want happy drivers in Virginia!

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Cancer

Hold it! You need to approach things in a calm, controlled manner today otherwise you're likely to get yourself into a state in no time at all. That's especially likely if you're trying to meet a deadline because you'll start to panic and then become all fingers and thumbs. You might also get extremely ratty with anyone who gets in your way or asks stupid questions. Come on, is that fair?
