To Rick Shies in the letter to the editor, referencing Mrs. Jarboe's published letter to the editor on Oct. 6, 2009.

Abigail Jarboe wrote that letter to the editor to dispute a caption associated with a photo. In trying to make her point that the wording of the caption was wrong, she went on to explain why it was wrong. The photo in question showed local Muslims meeting in Lebanon. The caption said "Quality time with God." Mrs. Jarboe's comments about Gods judgment on Sept. 11, 2001 was correct Rick, if you had actually taken the time to read all of her letter with that reference and how she explained that concerning God's relationship to man through Jesus Christ. Instead, you suggested that Mrs. Jarboe was being insensitive to the people who wore murdered that day by the Islamic terrorists. Her point was that the photo was mislabeled. It should have read, "Quality time with Allah."

The God of the Judeo-Christian faith is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Allah is not that God. Allah is a false God. You need to go back and re-read her letter. She did not assume anything, and for you to write, "I’m assuming she believes that all those who died, died because God pronounced his judgment upon them," is irresponsible. You really owe her an apology.

The moderate Muslims will try to paint their religion as the same as the Judeo-Christian religion, and it is not.

I'm just glad that my son doesn't have to grow up in a place where parents - role models - feel the need to carry a gun to their kid's soccer match.
