crane plumbing

can anyone tell me about this business?

It sucks. It used to be good, but it went down the crapper a while back. I worked there for a while, but it just did not seem the place to stay and work.

Why, was it the job, the pay, or the bosses? I heard they have closed alot of plants down, saying the company is losing money on them, do you agree with that? We have one close by here, thier were two, but they closed one of them about two years ago. The other one goes by crane fiat sanymetal, but I think the sanymetal part is out. Also are they a union shop? Down here they pay under $8 an hour.

Mansfield plumbing in your area is the same as crane plumbing in my area, would still like to hear about this company. And about how the company treats the employees there.

The bosses were good, but the work was VERY hard. Not very good pay for back breaking labor if you ask me. The company as whole seemed very "tyrant"-ish as well.

It's the same here from what I know so far. I heard the workers there just voted down a contract, I'll bet they ask for more money, which is what they should do.

My dad was killed while working at Mansfield Plumbing...No lock out tag out among other things They suck !!!!! Look all of them up on the OSHA webiste.

It's so sad someone has to die trying to make money to feed their family. I think a guy got hurt really bad in the Somerset, ky plant rumor is a roll of steel fell on his legs and after about two years and many operations, he got a settlement of 2.7 million. But as I said that is rumor. Thanks for the infro.

here in ky they have laid off alot of good workers and they wont get them back. have they laid off alot of workers there at mansfield? i know that american standard has taken over. are they planning on closing the somerset location?

since american standard has taken over, is this location laying off people?

i guess no one here knows anything either. too afraid to say anything.

Well, if it helps, I simply do not care. Find out yourself if you want to know. Mansfield is going down the crapper. I heard there was a death at the fault of AM. Standard, and I heard they did light lay off's but nothing big. In the end, I don't have very high opinions of this crappy factory and it should be condemned. Surprisingly though, I hear the exec offices are doing really nice

he never got his settlement hes still having alot of surgeries to this day

well does crane pay for the medical bills? why has he not gotten the settlement? it was the factorys fault.

yes cause hes still not out of the woods i seen him about 2 monthes ago and he was in a wheelchair it was told in the safety meeting not a week before it happened but the saftey guy said the threads on the [rope][the thing they raise the metal with i forgot what its called] has to be tearing apart more or less and the safety guy said it would be ok it wasnt the guys fault that the metal fell on him it was where noone listened to the employees that work on the floor sometimes someone with a real good education just doesnt havs no common sense and you can tell when you need to change things just if he the saftey guy would look at things in our prespective instead of acting like we dont know nothing were on the floor everyday hes not. hes NOT rite about everything he may act it but hes not

i just dont understand crane. they dont know how to treat their employees then wonder why there is so much turnover and then lose the good ones they do have. i hope that american standard will do better.

Who cares? Amercian Standard is on its way out. It will not be long until that dump gets dumped!
