How very tragic, this a perfect example of why our seatbelt laws need to enforced. How many lives are needlessly lost because someone did not take a moment to buckle up their kids. Our drinking and driving laws should be made way tougher as well,

It's really to bad they didn't all go to hell. We should give um all the firewater they want and give um more cars to kill each other with just keep them on the Rez where they belong. Just keep um away from us real people.

Maybe the reason things are so messed up and there is so much tragedy on reservations is because everyone is so quick to condemn and no one has the balls to lend a hand. It's easy to complain and blame and then look away. Like a white person has never driven drunk and killed. "Real People" don't judge without knowing or trying to help. Great idea give'em more of what is causing the problem. It's easy to judge and point out problems, but difficult to try and help and come up with realistic solutions.

I can't believe there are people like you still around - were you drinking when you wrote that miserable piece? You sound like that little tiny Fred Flintstone running around, no where to turn because all your dufus ideas have no meaning in the real world. I am a real person and my people were here way before your people even knew how to clean and take care of yourselves; had to show your people how to bathe everyday. And thats the truth!!!They should put you somewhere and throw the key away..

People are people no matter where they are from.I live on a reservation,so what???
Lets put this all into one heap.Who was the so called adult???The car?The baby???
We, are all real people, it is just some of us reqire a little more time to think on these matters.
The person, that ended this childs life will be the one to answer for all this not you nor i.
If, certain laws were acted upon, then maybe some of these "accidents" would not happen.Laws were made to protect and defend people, not the other way around. If, the so called law enforcement people are not doing their jobs?have an investigation. If, their children are breaking the law sue them as you would anyone else.IF, they are not doing their jobs right?Fire them and get someone who doesn't feel they are above the law. But, get someone in there that knows right from wrong.

Accidents happen life happens, the person responsible for this terrible accident is the person driving I don't know how the whole nation of native people have to be lumped into one heap. I attended a MADD (mothers against Drunk Driving) meeting and the Sheriff who spoke lost his daughter in a car accident while "the mother was the driver of the vehicle" the little girl had no choice because no one was around to see that the mother was drunk. So the mother got away and is still alive. These were white people, whatever is said can't bring the child back but putting down a whole tribe or nation is as if we are the only one who drink!! or Drive!! oh my gosh everything is so one sided in this USA. Everyone is right as long as your white?

I get so bad when I see or hear people with their holier than thow attitudes. I thank God that I serve a loving and forgiving God who probably cried over what this jerk said. At least that baby is up their with God and isn't suffering and doesn't have to live a life of hell. Who know's why the person was drinking. I have had friends who drank to much both white, red and black. Sin is no respector of person. We are all bad and do bad things but God forgives us. That person is probably suffering more than you or I know. They caused a life to be extinguished.

I get so mad when I hear or see people like HarvicMT who is to chicken to put their real name down so People can see just how contemptible they are. Every day we see in the paper where someone was killed or caused someone to die because of drinking. They aren't all Indian!! It is just that and Indian will make the headlines before a white person will. Look at the two boys killed by Hardin this week. They never mentioned the name of the driver. Did any one of you wonder why? I did, but I figured he was white. And the paper said, alcohol and speed where a factor. I thank God that I serve a loving and forgiving God. Because these people can get forgiveness from God when these holier than thou people have to sit back and judge. God said, judge not less yea be judged. And also you with out sin cast the first stone. This person must think they are God. SORRY I MENT TO REDUE MY NOTES BECAUSE OF THE MISTAKES BUT IT WENT THROUGH.

i was readin all the comments left and my thought on it all is. we as a tribe should help one another. sometime just one simple word can change a thought, idea, emotion, and help others to take a step foward. growth comes from around you. so give a carein word to help us all grow and rise above it all, to be the beautifull people that we are.
