When you work in a call center the turnover is great no matter where you work. AT&T has one of the lowest attrition rates or they did in relationships to other call centers. The pay is above average for the area is sets in. In addition the benefits are good. Anytime you get a bunch of peope working together you are going to havge some animosity. If people are miserable working they should quit. They might not find a job that pays as good but they could get 2 jobs that they likes instead of one they don't. I find that very annoying to work with someone who complains about the job all day. Life is what you make it and it is short. Instead of badmouthing everything that goes on redirect your energy to job hunting. Go back to school and do something you like but don't complain all the time. Life is what you make of it. If you liked your job so much then it would be considered a hobby.

I work there and have for years. While the pay is good and the benefits are better i find it a shame that most everyone is on discipiline for sales goals. Not quotas but goals. Dont beat me to death with negativity and tell me in a condascending tone ill be fine. Help me to do the sales job you want so i wont hv to worry about being fires in a couple of months and you can make that almight dollar. One suggestion is to eliminate most of the management and get new and make it a code of business violation to date other managers or reps. We have no suppprt because everybody is too busy chasing their next piece of ass. Its a sad shame.

JUst gets ya depressed that at the end of the day you've potentially retained thousands of dollars in future payments by customer by providing excellant customer service, only to have any positive feeling you had generated get wisked away with the question of "why didnt you sell anything today"?

Pays good, benefits good, team environment pretty good, recognition for doing what gets us the oppourtunity to sale....non-existent.

AT&T is not a non profit organization. The reason it is well paid and good benefits is because it is productive. If you can take the heat then get out of the kitchen. There is more complaining than anyone can stand. Leave please leave if you don't like it. It is silly to keep complaining and not do anything about it. If you hate it so bad go get another job. They are always hiring in fast food. Get 2 jobs you like to make up for one you hate. If someone is dating someone else don't concern yourself. Do your job. It isn't your business.

Daily Horoscope for May 20

Leo

You'll benefit from spending time on your plans and dreams for the future. Instead of always thinking of these as things that might happen one day if you're lucky, alter your attitude and start thinking of them as things that will definitely happen. And maybe you could start the ball rolling by turning a modest wish into reality?
