King daughters city wide 10 percent discount

Why do all places give kings daughters employees a 10percent discount. And boy do they let you know if you forget it..they all think there kings and queens of Ashland ...

What is it with the kings daughters discount like what's it all about

Any restaurant or other business gives them 10 percent off their bill

Wow and they don't do shit for our veterans around here the only reason I'm saying this is I was out the other day and noticed the only one that dose any thing for our vets is Ihop I mean he'll our vets should get the 10 percent off not them yes I understand that they do help out a lot in some cases but Knox is a fucking brandade stand

Only certain businesses give the 10% discount, it's not city wide. Get your facts straight before you post about something you know nothing about. It's called "good business". Some businesses actually try and get customers to come in by giving discounts.

I'll pay 10% of your cost for a remedial English class, good lord.

Ak workers along with other workers get a 17% discount from AT&T and Verizon

Old people get a discount!

When I worked retail I had two ER physicians come in and drop a couple of hundred a piece on new Nike shoes. They had the nerve to ask for a discount. I told them they made enough money that they can pay full price. They got mouthy so I asked them if I came to the ER I could get the mall discount. They said "no, that's just ridiculous." my point exactly!!!!

What should it matter to you if they wanted their discount, it didn't come out of your pocket. You must have been a great employee talking to customers like that, guess that's probably why you don't work there anymore.

so if someone comes in and spends a bunch of cash and presents a coupon, do you refuse to give them that too? I honestly can't blame them for being mouthy if you honestly told them they made enough money that they didn't need the discount. I'm sure there are lots of things that you don't NEED that you still have - like an internet connection. You aren't the arbiter of who is allowed to use the discount that is given to them.

If they had a coupon I would have gladly given them a discount. It pissed me off that they expected me to just knock money off for them. Hell we weren't even allowed to give military discounts there (I did, however, usually try to do something for the military, even if I had to do a price over ride). We as employees barely got a discount. And no, smart ass. I don't work there anymore. I graduated from college and got a real job.

"They got mouthy"? You started it. If there was no discount, all you had to do was say so.

And no, KDMC employees do NOT get a city-wide discount. We do get a discount some places, but that list is growing smaller as businesses drop their discount.

I give them 10% off. Why because my competition does not and 10% is little cost compared to the eXtra business. Also give 10% to police/fire and military. OLBH, St Mary’s, & Cabell. Used to do it for Ashland inc as well. AK? Not really get that many to think about it. It all business! Really none of yours if all you do is complain about it;)

Do you know what I find laughable;) A lot of people bit*h about KDMC. Why? They employ a lot of good paying jobs in the area. That is if you are not to lazy to go to college. People also used to complain about Ashland Inc. Now look they are gone. AK is getting smaller. So really they are one of our largest paying companies. Have they laid off? Yep but all companies do that. I think people just complain because they are frankly to lazy or unmotivated to go to college. Why else would you complain about a company that has some good middle class jobs?

I bet when you get fired from places you just sit at home "maybe for 2 years" and say damn the job market is so bad that I cant get hired! It cant be that I am a a*s at work. When all I should be doing is offering service with a smile and not open my big opinionated mouth. No its because there is just no jobs open;) I have the rite to say what I want on company time;)

Never been fired actually. Just got tired of kissing the public asses and moved up the ladder. No more customer bs for me ;)

not all ak workers get the discount. Its a discount for being union. Some AT&T workers are union also.

Hey Rose, mall employees get discounts at various mall stores. Did you complain about that too? Senior citizens get discounts too. Care to complain? Sounds like you were either fired by KDMC or they wouldn't give you a job to begin with.

I'm sure you were expecting "wow Rose, you are so awesome to be mouthing off to two customers like that, since they make so much more money than you!" kinda sucks to see everyone think you're a brat, huh? And I'd like to see what kind of job you have where you have no customers. I'm well educated, have a nice job and I still deal with the public.
