Retoru wrote: <quoted text> How would they succeed? Neither magic nor demons actually exist, how is it a matter of time until they actually succeed in conjuring up something that's not real? Why do people persist in this foolishness about the "paranormal"? There's never been one shred of empirical evidence to support this crap in the nearly 100 years that people have been "seriously" investigating it. Ghosts, demons, poltergeists, and hauntings are all just figments of the imagination. It's another case of childhood beliefs that people refuse to let go of when they reach adulthood. I'm curious how it's been decided which things are "real" and which aren't once you reach adulthood. Obviously, the Tooth Fairy isn't real, but why is that one discarded? Why are ghosts not discarded? Why do we all agree that Santa Claus is just a story, but then we can't all agree that evil spirits tormenting us for fun is also just a fairy tale? Do you believe in God?!

I agree with your post. Just curious if you think that mediums really can communicate with the dead. I think they're called mediums, but anyway, what do you think?

I had a very interesting discussion about activity there with a resident today, but I was wondering if anyone else has had any supernatural happen there or knows any history of the land. Any information would be very helpful! Thanks! I was in bed one night and was kind of restless. I rolled over and seen a tall black outline of a mans head and shoulders enter my room and walk past my bed and disappeared into the wall. I was in disbelief until the next day when my daughter came to me and said, "Mom, I have to tell you what happened last night." I said ok. She said she was lying in bed on her phone and looked up and seen a tall black outline of a mans head and shoulders walk out of her closet by her bed through the door and right into my room. I sat down and had a tear go down my cheek because I hadn't told anyone what I had seen. I was speechless. I told her what I had seen and she was shocked to say the least. I have felt someone in the bed with me, heard footsteps come up the stairs and one night heard 4 really loud bangs like it was coming from the shower wall. It woke us up out of sleep.

Did you happen to live the fourth building on the left on Reeves? Had some similar experiences in that building as did my neighbors.

Still have that image burned in my mind today

I know this sounds crazy. There was a guy that lived in one of the apartments and he didn't have any kids. Every morning he would get up and drive to work. Every day he come home to his nice little unit. Well one morning he went to work just like he always did. And everyone else slept in just like they always did. That day when he got home everything he owned had vanished, it was all gone even his toothbrush. How do you explain that?

There was always a presence in that apartment, after I had my daughter it would hang over her baby bed like it was watching over her. My sister-in-law and her boyfriend were there on night babysitting and saw it go up the stairs; she never would babysit there after that. To me it felt more protective, but it didn’t appear to be so fond of the neighbors on each side of me.
