I'm a paranormal investigator, and our team is planning an investigation in Debord Hill. I had a very interesting discussion about activity there with a resident today, but I was wondering if anyone else has had any supernatural happen there or knows any history of the land. Any information would be very helpful! Thanks!

I lived on Debord Hill for 25 years, 82-07. Lived in two different apartments on two different streets. I never encountered anything amiss during my time up there. And that includes childhood and teen years when we would walk all over the complex and in the woods at night. Of course alot has changed since back then, the big park is now gone and alot of the woods areas have been brushed out. I remember a households mother passing away in their apartment when I was in high school about ten years ago. It would be interesting if the investigation determined activity. Good luck.

my girlfriend and i were sitting outside the other night and seen something come down out of the woods then just vanish. Was like a big blob of white energy. There also used to be a coal mine back in the late 1800s early 1900s that ran under the hill.

I was laying on my stomach trying to sleep And felt hands holding my hands and someone laying on my back. I got the impression it was a woman. She then said "Im taking you with me". I forced myself back to total awakeness and sit up and said no you ain't. It ended there.

A friend walked by an open window one night ad saw naked people with candles standing around a pentagram, chanting. Everybody knows it happens, ask around!

Neither magic nor demons actually exist, how is it a matter of time until they actually succeed in conjuring up something that's not real? Why do people persist in this foolishness about the "paranormal"? There's never been one shred of empirical evidence to support this crap in the nearly 100 years that people have been "seriously" investigating it. Ghosts, demons, poltergeists, and hauntings are all just figments of the imagination. It's another case of childhood beliefs that people refuse to let go of when they reach adulthood. I'm curious how it's been decided which things are "real" and which aren't once you reach adulthood. Obviously, the Tooth Fairy isn't real, but why is that one discarded? Why are ghosts not discarded? Why do we all agree that Santa Claus is just a story, but then we can't all agree that evil spirits tormenting us for fun is also just a fairy tale?

If ghosts exist, they are important and deserve to be taken seriously.
