wow - thats ridiculous. The best players should play first, no matter the age. When I was playing we had freshman start over Senior because they were better athletes.

Baker played at Verity and got in trouble, like usual BC was there to scoop them up. This year, he came back home to the A! Oh, and didn't get ejected. Don't mention anything about how we run our athletes until you learn to control your own.

I am not trying to upset no one B.C Fan or the rest of you.I do not have a child playing no where,I have a grandson that played for the Rams. And as far as the boy I was watching he is in 9th grade so he will get his time and his parents know that he will not start no ball ,he has only played for 3 years.I could care less who play's for you all or who start's I was just stating what I seen. And like I said the kid's that did play last night was good at what they was doing, never said thay was not.Sorry you think that I am pathetic for saying what I saw.I wish all the boy's at your school the best of luck this season. Now this discussion is done I just wanted to post what I saw,not to be bashed about it,I am to old for that name calling I went through that when I was in school. So good luck any ways to all the boy's
I know how you fee. I had a son who was a senior that got very little play time on the field. Their were a few sophomores that started, he did not. He never missed a practice all four years and gave his best, always! But, they had some real good talented younger ones. Did I like it? No. Did I cry? Yes, just as he did at times. But, I am so proud that he never gave up or quit the team. Now, his younger brother who is a sophomore starts and did also as a freshman. No, we are not related to anyone in the school system and barely make it from payday to payday. I am proud of my son that plays now, but old memories get me when I see upper classmen not getting much time. I take no pleasure in seeing anyone hurt. When other people tell me how good of a player my young son is, I thank them and move on. A few resent him and hurt him at times, but he never gives up either. I am equally proud of my sons.

Not quite. The kid told Verity MS administration another kid threatened to jump him after school and they did nothing. Happened that same day. Tried to shove him into traffic as I heard it.

He got pulled out of there by his parents. Now that he can go to Blazer and not deal with those bums, he came back.

Listen up people..the person who started this thread likely has NO TIES at all to ANYONE at Boyd County....just someone trying to start trouble instead of going back to school to learn English again. Everyone relax - we all know that many seniors don't start at a lot of schools.

Yes you are right Brad I have no Ties at Boyd County,I was there to watch a kid play that belongs to a friend of mine.I am not trying to start no trouble no where I was just asking something that I had seen and yes a lot of you all are right ,A lot of school's don't play seniors'.I went back over my post and what I can tell I did type English so maybe you need to learn to read. But I just think it is sad that they don't play their last year of school. That is all I was trying to get at.

And 5 years from now ALL of you will be sitting around, unemployed, and reminiscing about "how great things were in HIGH SCHOOL."

Sad.
