I really do think its from the changing cold's absolutely horrible, but these birds cant keep their body temp up. Florida has had ice and the birds dont have a place to migrate. We've had some extrememe weather lately. While there have not been many tornadoes, we have had an almost record low along with near record high and low temperatures within the last few weeks. I'm sure this has been too much for the poor little bird's bodies...along with other small bodies associated with higher altitudes such as insects. Just my thoughts
This sounds logical. There has been unusual weather all over the world. That could explain the fish and bird deaths in those areas too.

It's a sign of what's to come! When we lose our natural inhabitants, It's usually not a good looking outcome for the rest of us. Lets keep drilling for oil and creating the next precription medication!....Because we need it.

It certainly is odd.

Maybe bird Flu? That wouldn't count for the dead fish though.

Earthquake sounds like the likely culprit. The deep geologic tremors can emit sound waves that mess with migratory birds' finely tuned direction sense. Earthquake vibrations would also explain what killed all the fish in Arkansas, too. Fish have lateral lines (vibrations sensors) along their bodies and they might have been overwhelmed.

I'm no expert, though. I just listen to No Agenda.

When the sixth of the seven seals is broken, a devastating earthquake occurs, causing massive upheaval and terrible devastation—along with unusual astronomical phenomena (Revelation 6:12-14). Those who survive are right to cry out,“Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”(Revelation 6:16-17).

It could be a number of bet is the fluxuating temperature. I mean...really...who the heck is going to believe this many birds and fish was killed by fireworks? Not may kill some birds...but I don't see the fish happening. As for the government idea...I see that as a possibility too. Anything is possible...even life somewhere else. Has anyone seen the happening? It could even be something like that. But I'm not a scientist or anything, this is all up in the air for me on what is going on. I'd feel bad for the animals if someone is testing something on them.
shiver me timbers
