what the heck is the matter with that so called mom. is she stuck on stupid???? does she not read or even see the news???? that mom should be held in jail for a long time on child endangerment

what the hell was that mother thinking, I mean is it that important to go to the bar when she should have the most important reason to stay at home that she could ever have???? If a bar is more important than a precious child, then maybe she should be locked up and the child given to a family member, if no one available, then some family that would show him/her the love and appreciation for the child that he or she deserves

I too am a mother, but people need to mind their own biz. 10 months is quite young, but we DO NOT know the cirumstances behind the story.

Good Grief, maybe the girl was thirsty. Was she getting the baby drunk? Should the baby be left in the car or tethered on a leash to a post outside? Leave the woman alone.

bar has a kid rec room in it child was in back room with mom and people were in the main bar upset becuse she was back there with her kid

Why would she think she was doing something wrong when the state of Wisconsin allows parents to bring their underage children into a bar and order them alcohol? Is she in trouble because the baby wasn't a paying customer? This state is completely backwards and it is reflected in its mentally s-l-o-w residents.

I am sure you do-gooders have never taken your child to a restaurant that sells alcohol. Give me a break...if she would have had a sandwich with her beer, then it would be ok?

The circumstances:
The mother in the Sullivan bar incident did not have enough sense NOT to bring her child into a drinking establishment. That is when it became other people's business. Beleive me, nothing would make me happier if I did not have to witness society going to hell in a handbasket....trash people who's parents did not teach them a thing about being a responsible, respectable member of the community repeating the cycle of stupidity and ignorance. These folks are a financial drain on society and a mental and emotional drain on others that are exposed to irresponsible actions.

Some of you forget that its pretty commonplace in many areas of wisconsin to bring children into taverns with you...geeez, my kids went into bars with me all of the time living in rural wisconsin (up north) so did we when we were kids..while your grandpa bought you a pop and occasionally gave you a sip of his beer- lighten up-

I would love to see a politician run in Wisconsin on a platform of helping business and promoting education instead of supporting the Tavern League and agriculture. Sober up Wisconsin!

We don't know the whole story. Something like this happend to me. I was traveling down south
for about 7 hours and had no food, so we stopped at a nice bar that served food. My daughter was about10 months old. When traveling in the mountains there was no fast food like there is today. This was about 38 years ago. I took my
daughter in and the person behind the bar told me
to get out. I told them we were hungry and only wanted to order food. They said no way. So don't judge till you hear the whole story.
